Lake Tahoe lake front cabin located on large, private old Tahoe family property.
Very, very special and historic cabin owned by the same family for 100
years+ with original as well as new touches and modern amenities throughout.
Gorgeous, private sandy beach and cove with panoramic views, steps off of
large lake view deck with nice teak table, chairs, and relaxing new loungers.
Big kitchen with new range, convection/micro ovens, is very well equipped
for all meals plus big gas BBQ .Dishwaher. washer/dryer, cable TV/WI-FI

Good location, Beautiful views from deck
House was really nice,first floor is very accessible; but the shower door is narrow "glass" , there are no grab bars.
Only 1 & 1/2 baths (upstairs is toilet & sink) stairs are steep (100 yr old house).
We had to wash all dishes & utensils before we used them (dried food, crumbs, etc.).
Traveled with elderly parents - they really enjoyed sitting on the deck -

You are right on the lake with wonderful views. The cottage is very warm and relaxing. One can hear the waves when all is quiet. This place offers a beautiful sense of history, having been in this same family for decades.
It had everything one needs. The owners are very near and want to be helpful to their guests. Not the best for just taking leisurely walks but it was dog friendly and very clean.
We had a great time. -

I've stayed at the Cave Rock cabin many tiimes over the past 10 to 12 years - typically in august. It's a great spot on the lake, the private beach is sweet, the house and deck are very comfortable and functional. And Sally is great too! (And Doug is as well.) Will I go back? Yes... I'd like to be there right now.
