      Great Location

Left on 08/18/2011 for a stay in June 2011

I travelled with my wife ,daughter and son in law to the cottage in Glencoe and found it ideal for our holiday touring the west of Scotland. The cottage was comfortable with plenty room and within easy reach of shops if needed.Fort William the nearest big town has a Morrisons with a cafe and is excellent after a day sight seeing to have a meal without having the trouble to cook and at a reasonable price, highly recommended With reference to Ivy Cottage , the toaster needed replacing and I had worries over only the kitchen door in use in the event of a fire as the front door seemed to be locked permanently. My wife and I would have no problem recommending Ivy Cottage to anyone and we would use it again if we were to stay in the area. My daughter and son in law are of the same opinion

A comfortable well equipped cottage in a lovely location. A pity there was no bathroom upstairs as this was inconvenient. The stairs were very creaky so disturbing the rest of the party every time anyone used the bathroom through the night. Comfortable furnishings and plenty of towels etc.Lovely views from the cottage and a red stag coming to the garden fence every day made it special.

Ivy Cottage was well equiped and comfortable, with enough lounge seating and space for 4 of us, including 2 adult size teenagers.
Spacious bedrooms with room for the luggage and decent beds. The shower was good.
The view of the hills from the cottage were lovely, despite it being in the village. Having dedicated parking space was useful. It was located well for pubs and restaurants.
