This private modern home in Glenn has new hardwood floors and many improvements. The location is ideal as it is just a short walk to the large public beach where you can stroll the lakeshore for miles and miles. Glenn is situated right between South Haven and Saugatuck which both offer wonderful dining and shopping options. Glenn itself boats an outstanding local convenience store with a deli and homemade pizza, a restaurant and ice cream stand, a hardware store, and a darling home store. The house worked very well for our family. The proximity to the beach was good. We enjoyed several days playing in the sand and water.
The kitchen worked well for preparing meals and snacks. We also enjoyed the firepit and roasting marshmellows one evening.
The only negative was the basketball pole suddenly falling over. Fortunately no one was hurt. -

we loved our stay at the Kessler Cottage. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds comfortable, the beach so close, and the location quiet and cozy!!!

This was the site of our annual 3 generation family reunion, 7 adults and 4 grand children under 10 and in general it worked magnificantly for this group. The cottage is located at the end of a road and surrounded by trees, lots of privacy. The beach is about a 15 minute hike from the cottage down a steep path, quite a distance to carry a lot of beach toys but not unmanagable. The beach was almost deserted most of the time, lots of privacy but lots of small sharp rocks along the shore, take along beach shoes to protect feet. There are lots of toys in the garage, bicycles, badmiton,horse shoes, basketball backboard, balls and frizbees, beach chairs and beach toys etc. The lawn/yard surrounding the cottage is more than adequate for chidren's games of baseball, soccer, badmiton but watch out for poison ivy around the edges. We did lots of bike riding with children on local roads and felt very safe, very little automobile traffic. Lots of deck space and deck chairs for lounging and adult converation and star gazing andif you like campfires, a nice firepit. And the village of Glen is close enough for a hiking adventure. If you wash clothes, watch out for rust in the water particulary on light colored clothes, wash them later.
