No boat dock is available. This home has easy access and no stairs except to the loft alcove. Central a/C and heat has now been installed at this cottage! No Smoking, No Pets. Off-season rates are discounted 15%. Weekly: $1037, Short Stay: $234 per night (3 night minimum).

The cottage was well equipped and maintained. The proximity to the waterfront was a bonus and the family enjoyed the swimming. The only real drawback was the road system in Tater Knob which is so narrow and twisting that we were uncomfortable contemplating a return after dark.

This is the second time we have stayed here, because of the floor plan layout being perfect for grandparents, parents, and 3 grandkids. The kids could go down to the lake and play at the marina in front of the house. The lake breezes were so refreshing and the temperature ranged between 51 and 78 degrees all week long. Each sunset over the lake directly in front of us brought us all together in awe of God's beautiful creation. And the night wood sounds and smells transported us into a very safe and enjoyable mountain world. Great location to Cashiers and Sylva.
Most of all, there was an extraordinary sense of peace in the home. We will be back. -

This was just the vacation we were looking for. We loved the wonderful view of the lake. The home is comfortable, clean, and well equipted. We were able to make day trips to the surrounding areas. There is fun shopping and quaint resturants.
