Stay in downtown Glenwood Springs just steps from Glenwood's best restaurants, nearly every activity is within easy walking distance. This 1500 sq ft, 2 bedroom unit built in the late 1800's is located upstairs in what was once the Palace Hotel. It has been completely renovated with some of the old things still in tact. Look at the doors; they are the original ones from the 1890's with the room numbers still on them. Doc Holiday is rumored to have stayed here.
Going up the stairs you will find yourself on a great, large deck with a stone top table ,firepit and BBQ grill. Go thru the door into the enclosed sun porch and sitting area...Read more

Located in Glenoowd Springs, CO only 40 minutes to Aspen or 55 minutes to Vail and 30 minutes to the Eagle-Vail airport. Only a 5 minute walk to the world's largest naturally heated hot springs pool and spa and only a 7 minute walk to the tram to Glenwood Adventure Park and caves. River rafting, kayaking, fishing, mountain biking and much more close by.

Our family enjoyed this loft for 4 days, and was perfect for us all. The kitchen truly has everything you might need and 2 nice bedrooms, all nicely decorated and clean. We love to stay in "different" rentals and this place is truly unique and we so enjoyed the history of the space and the downtown location. Within walking distance to the Hot Springs Pool and several good restaurants. Also enjoyed the patio.

Wonderful location, clean, excellent directions. Train station and pool are just a short walk away. Restaurants are close by.
Especially enjoyed the fire pit. Nothing like sitting at a fire with a glass of wine at the end of the day's activities to watch the sunset and the stars appear.
The only surprise was one toilet. Usually expect a bath and a half to have 2 of those.
Thanks to the owners who furnished this place and make it available. Definitely a home away from home. -

the loft was the perfect place for three sisters to spend a three day layover after arriving in glenwood springs via amtrak. the loft is conveniently located to the train station, restaurants and shopping. we walked to the hot springs and vapor caves. we also walked to the car rental to pick up a car for a day's drive into carbondale, redstone and aspen.
pat and cal have provided a haven for weary travellers. the beds were soft, the rooms were immaculately clean with plenty of space for relaxing and planning each day's adventure.
we plan on returning to glenwood springs and the loft is where we would want to stay. thanks! -

Our stay at the loft was absolutely wonderful. The space is warm and inviting- with plenty of room for the whole family! The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed cooking most meals at home, but also had the easy option of walking only a few blocks to many great restaurants. The loft is also within walking distance of the pool and vapor caves. If you're planningaround a triphouse to glenwood andso want the option of cooking your own meals and wantwithin to be within walking distance of everything...this is the place to stay! This place is an outstanding value and I would highly recommend it!
