My husband and I wanted to spend a relaxing weekend in the countryside to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. When I first saw the pictures from their website, I immediately fell in love with it. I was slightly worried that the actual room may not look the same as in the photos. However, when we got there we were immensely impressed. The rooms looked exactly as it was in the photos. Lovely, clean, and very well-maintained. The decor and amenities are very luxurious. The hosts, Colleen and Warren, welcomed us with warm and generous hospitality. We definitely will come back next time.

Villa Medici was referred to us by the Gloucester information office. Colleen and Warren were most welcoming and nothing was a trouble. The accommodation was excellent, very tastefully decorated in an English country style. Set in 200 acres of superb country side, the facilities were second to none, with a plunge pool and cabana to relax and enjoy the scenery.
The food was exceptional, prepared by Colleen. The Gloucester region is perhaps the richest and most attractive country side on the east coast and if you are considering a vacation there, Villa Medici is the only choice. -

Can't praise highly enough the ambience, hospitality and attention to every detail of the luxury amenities provided.
Gourmet dinner and breakfasts were the crowning glory.

I wish to say how wonderful a weekend getaway I had with my husband and it's all due to the relaxing atmosphere and pure comfort we received at Villa Medici B&B.; Truly, I cannot recommend highly enough Villa Medici if you need to get away from the stresses of a busy life and want some time out to be pampered in a relaxing way. Satisfaction beyond all expectations. Treat yourself today as we certainly will sometime again soon.

We picked Villa Medici for a quiet weekend in the country. The room was excellent, with the best quality furnishings and bedding, the setting very picturesque and the hosts great company. Colleen prepared dinner for us on our arrival which was restaurant quality and very good value and the breakfasts were stunning.
We returned from dinner on Saturday evening to a candle lit pathway lined with rose petals, leading to our room. A very special touch; Colleen had realised that it was our wedding anniversary.
Very highly reccomended.

The first thing you will notice is the magnificant scenery, and the peaceful outlook from Villa Medici - the beautiful hills and the contented cattle. The accommodation is luxurious with wonderful attention to detail. Elegant bedrooms, and a cosy living space with a crackling fire for the cold months, and plunge pool,spa and spacious verandah for the warmer. Hosts Colleen and Warren are welcoming and attentive, and have created a perfect rural retreat.
