Left on 12/29/2012 for a stay in December 2012
Aparantas is in a quiet lane of Vagator ... Leading to small Vagator Beach. We were 2 families with 5 kids & we rented the 3 Bed Villa. It is a basic, fuctiional Villa set in beautiful landscaped surroundings. The Villas are very clean, the staff friendly and helpful. The pool is small, a dip pool -- very clean & very well maintained. The location is fantastic --- You are in a quiet part of Goa, yet not too far from Baga / Calangute / Candolim. If you like beaches, I recommend the small Vagator beach, South anjuna Beach & Morjim. To eat ... Mango Tree (just a block away) for breakfast, a drink, a meal ... It is open 24 x 7 x 365!!! And packed to the seams. Also, Thalassa (Greek cuisine) is in walking distance, I recommend you catch the sunset there. Sakana for sushi ... And of course the beach shacks for local Goan cuisine.
I strongly recommend the rental of bikes / car in order to be mobile. -

Pune, IndiaCool , calm & luxurious stay
Left on 12/24/2012 for a stay in June 2012
I traveled with a bunch of friends all with families with children. We booked two 3-bedroom villas next to each other and had wonderful stay.
The property is located at a calm location, no noise around and secure. General stores to buy groceries & vegetables are nearby. They have limited villas and apartments which keeps it down to quality and not quantity. The property is very well maintained. The lawn , surroundings everything is great. Even in monsoon the swimming pool was well maintained. They use to clean it everyday.
The villas have a big living room with a LCD , satellite TV connection , dining table and all what is required. The kitchen have all the required utensils. The refrigerator is big enough to store all your needs.
Room & bathrooms are neat and clean. We had no problem with anything in our stay there.
I would definitely visit there again and recommend to friends. -

Our 4 night stay at Goa Casitas - Apparantas at Vagator, Goa, was really awesome. The property is truly beautiful and the villas amazing. You indeed have taken care to take care of minute details and needs of the guests with spacious rooms and all amenities and appliances. Our children too enjoyed in the pool and were safe in the premises. The peaceful location spared us from the maddening traffic and overcrowding like at baga and calangute. Will definitely be back again.. Our thanks to the manager Jose who was helpful throughout and the staff who maintained our villa every morning.
Cheers.

We had a wonderful trip.. This was the 2nd time I stayed at apparantas and it was indeed a pleasure.. I have visited Goa hundreds of times in the last fifteen years and will be visiting many more times in the future also.. But now every time I visit I can say for sure that I will be staying only at Goa Casitas property.. It is a wonderful place for any guest to stay in, is ideally located and has been immaculately maintained.. The staff is very courteous and everything is in place.. There was no reason for me to complain about anything.. Would definitely look forward to my next visit which will be some time very soon.. Thanks to Goa Casitas for the wonderful experience

I had a good experience in my stay at appparantas in Vagator. Spacious place, green grass and a pool was a feel good to me. I would love if few things get added on the list like, close availability to food joint ( goan and not punjabi). rest i guess it was a sorted holiday :)

Yes we did have a fantastic holiday in Goa last week...and i have to say majority of the credit goes to apparantas. Our 15 month old boys thoroughly enjoyed running around your well-maintained property, splashing in the pool and playing in your decently sized apartments. Your property is located in a nice quiet neighbourhood..with the advantage of the Ozran beach being just 12 mins walk. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. It surely fitted into our requirement of a nice spacious place for our boys and a chilled out break for us.
Already recommending your property to many of our friends...so dont be surprised if we land up there soon

Left on 03/05/2012 for a stay in February 2012
We have just returned from a wonderful 2 week stay at apparantas. Jose and his staff are very welcoming and helpful. They keep the accommodation secure at all times and the gardens and pool areas well maintained. The villa's are clean and comfortable and all facilities as described. The location is great, with restaurants and beaches nearby.
Would recommend a visit to a Spice Plantation. Be aware that there is small additional charge when paying deposits from the UK that are added by the Indian banks, this will be added to the cost of your accommodation but is small in value. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Goa looking for great accommodation and facilities at great prices. -

We stayed at apparantas for 3 nights. To say the least, it is an absolutely wonderful location, away from the humdrum of Vagatore or anjuna. Cafes/Eateries are less than a 5 mins walk. You have order in options. The swimming pool is a tad bit small but very clean. The villas are spot clean and the beds are most comfortable. All in all, a very comfortable stay and highly recommended.

Stay at Villa apparantus was like a home away from home. Had an awesome experience with my family members. Our group consisted of 15 people, that included people of all age group. The ambiance and services were excellent and everything was available at a stones throw distance. Its best to hire a bike or a car to be accessible to the nearby beach and market. The Vagator beach is at a walking distance, while other beaches like Baga and Calangute are close to 4 km away from the Villa. Its worth an experience and a wonderful place.

Dubai,United Arab EmiratesVery Disappointing
Left on 10/07/2011 for a stay in April 2011
My friends and I stayed here in april-we were very disappointed with the staff in the villa. The villa itself was very nice but we experienced several problems-upon arrival we signed a list of "rules" which included the banning of any guests vsiting the villa-we had many friends staying in the area who were not allowed come in after a certain time (often we wished to cook dinner and have drinks with our friends). Despite these supposed "security rules" one of our friends still managed to be robbed of 400 euros, the watchman slept in his cabin every night so when we experienced electricity cuts and were quite scared there was no one to help as he was asleep and when woken didnt speak any english. One of the security staff got extremely drunk another night and came to our door making animal sounds outside, the same man who refused to allow our friends in during the evenings. We were told to wire 50% of the money prior to arriving which we did, even so we were more or less harassed for the first day of our holiday to pay the remaining 50% as well as a security deposit (which was returned as we were getting into our taxi to the airport)-I have never experienced such unprofessionalism-anywhere Ive ever stayed I have paid on departure especially if 50% has already been wired before even arriving-it was difficult to organise this as there were 10 people staying in the villa all enjoying their holiday but being told to be home at a certain time to finalise payments before the week even began! in theory the villas have great potential as they are really lovely with a clean pool but in practice these people need to know how to run a business where the customer is satisified and doesnt feel like their stay is all about squeezing as much money out of people as possible. we felt when we told the staff about the missing money they told us to look amongst our own group but we were friends travelling together for months who had not experienced this before, the man continued to tell us a story about how he had been accused of this by a previous guest and actually ended up being questioned by the police but it was nonsense. as you can imagine we did not feel very safe after being told this, being frequently in the dark at night without electricity, aggressive staff, sleeping security guards and having been robbed.
Response from Goa Casitas Apparantas - 11/14/2011
Owner
Apparantas has had the pleasure of hosting guests from round the world who have enjoyed the property immensely and gone back with nostalgic memories of their Goan Holiday.
It does surprise us to note that this guest has chosen to report an alleged theft nearly after 6 months of their stay with us. If at all such an incident did take place, it was never informed to us earlier or even a comment written in the Guest Book. Had the guest bought this to our notice the matter could have been investigated with the assistance of the local police and if at all any theft had taken place the guilty would have been caught.
Every guest is made aware of the house rules during check in which do stipulate that out side visitors cannot stay over night at the premises for the safety and security of the residents. Hence the demand of this guest that their visitors be allowed to stay back at the property was highly unjustified and our security personnel were well justified in requesting them politely to leave the premises as they were also disturbing other residents at the property late at night. This has perhaps not been viewed in the correct perspective by this guest.
The payment terms were well agreed prior to arrival of the guest and accepted by them even prior to confirming the booking with us. The guest should have honored their payment commitments on check in. It is extremely professional for the staff to politely remind any guest for the balance and over due payments.
Goa does not by and large have a power or electricity problem. However despite this we have installed power back up invertors at all our units to ensure uninterrupted supply of power. Our security guards do not consume alcohol during duty hours and are well trained to interact with the guests under any situation. They not only secure the premises but on many an occasion have helped guests recover their belongings which were misplaced by them at other locations outside the premises as well -

True to its description, d holiday was indeed home away from home. Totally impressed with the prompt booking response, the "check-in" with all the rooms well air-conditioned,clean sheets, towels, the clean swimming pool(with its strict instructions), the well designed bedrooms with attached bath, meticulously planned kitchen, clean interiors as well as exteriors. we did not want to step out except for lunch/dinner.So we even tried the in house cook, who made delicious fish curry and prawns. Jose, was very helpful. The service for the second villa was a little disappointing. but overall our stay at apprantas was fabulous and the entire family enjoyed a lot.

Good and comfortable place. The staff are friendly. It was raining as we went in the monsoon and there are a few safety concerns as the villa and flat approach steps are too smooth and polished and we had 2 major slips from our group (No First aid kit available). Apart from that it was a very pleasurable experience.

Left on 05/29/2011 for a stay in May 2010
No bus loads of crowd, no noisy markets.. A really well maintained, secluded place. Spotlessly clean. Manager Jose and staff are really superb, taking care of all your needs. In Mumbai we wake up at the honking of cars or the alarms, but here we would wake up early morning at the calls of a pair of peacocks in the nearby bushes which was absolutely fun. Food may be a problem, so be ready to cook your own food if you plan to stay for long (but this is not a hotel so that's something expected). Very close to the scenic Vagator beach, not much crowded like Calangute, Colva etc. Come here if you want to have a relaxing, blissful vacation. Will surely visit the place the next time im in goa.

Left on 01/16/2011 for a stay in December 2010
I had booked for a group f 8 of my friends a few months prior to our arrival. This was a well planned holiday and everyone was really looking forward to it. To be honest I was a bit nervous and wasn't sure what to expect!
Although we arrived at such an early time (5 am) the Manager Jose was kind enough to meet us, however we had some trouble checking in and I thought my doubts were in place! Next morning we woke up and still the accommodation we booked was not ready and we did not settle in until 7pm that day. Luckily we were staying for 10 days so half a day wasted sorting out the accommodation wasn't a big deal. Especially when considering the remainder of the stay, which was terrific!
The accommodation itself was great, with all amenities working properly. You would step outside your Villa and find well thought of and maintained landscaping and a really nice clean pool in the middle, with sun beds and towels available.
What also made this place special is the location. Absolutely perfect! Nestled among the bushes of Vagator village, it's just a short walk from Vagator Beach Road with all the shops. On the way to Vagator Beach Road, you will find a gem called Be Good to Yourself, a place with great vibes and some quality food. You return home after a busy day in anjuna or Candolim, to find this place an oasis of calm, only to hear the base in the background coming from neighbouring Primrose or Hilltop. Amazing!
I should also not forget the staff, such a great bunch, respectful, honest and ready to help at any time. They would help you tidy the place in the morning, changing the sheets and providing fresh towels.
This was a holiday of a lifetime and if I ever make it back again to Goa, there is no other place I would stay in at other than Casitas. Great place and great value for money.

Left on 09/17/2010 for a stay in September 2010
This was our first stay at the property and the sheer luxury and ambiance of the property hit us the minute we walked into the complex.
The villa was very spacious unlike other places I have stayed at Goa and had every thing one could want and wish for at home. The staff were extremely courteous and polite and made us feel truly welcome.
It is located in an excellent spot ...just minutes walk to the beautiful Vagator beach and close enough to Baga for the night life as well. We had several options for break fast as well in the nearby eateries en route to the beach.
I think they are doing a fantastic job in maintaining the place. Despite the monsoon the pool was crystal clear and added to the scenic beauty of the property as the villa overlooks the pool
The wifi came free and helped me keep in touch with the rest of the world (much to the annoyance of my wife) .
All said and done a fantastic choice for any one planning a trip to Goa ...Highly recommended -
