Description from the owner
Lovely country villa with private pool and wifi in a really great location. Surrounded by pine forest, vines and orange groves this villa is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the Spanish sun, but it is also only 20 minutes from the beaches and historic sights of Valencia City so you can make the most of both worlds! It is also ideal for exploring the small but famous Spanish villages nearby- Requena is the oldest wine producing area in Spain and Bunyol is the home of the 'tomatina' tomato throwing festival. The villa is also next to the prestigious EL Bosque golf course and a few minutes away from Cheste motor racing circuit, perfect for the...Read more

Additional Location Information
The villa is in a rural village, but with a supermarket, bars and a great restaurant nearby. Valencia city is only a 20 minute drive along the A3 motorway, and there are lovely beaches set in the Albufuera national park nearby. Valencia airport is 15 minutes away and there is a mall with a wealth of shops and restaurants 10 mins away. Valencia has lots to see and do. In June Valencia hosts the European Grand Prix, but for all seasons there are numerous festivals including the famous Fallas festival, historic sights, and the stunning new buildings of the Centre for the Sciences housing Europes biggest aquaruim. Don't miss the Biopark- zoo without cages! Oh, and there's bullruns, tomato throwing, wine festivals... so much!

Glasgow, United KingdomPerfect Holiday Retreat
Left on 12/18/2012 for a stay in September 2012
My husband and I visited Don Quixote Lodge in September this year. As the previous reviews confirm, the welcome couldn't have been warmer. We managed to get slightly lost, Gina and George came straight to our rescue, and showed us the local shop when doing so! They were so friendly and have such interesting stories to tell.
The villa is lovely and the pool fantastic. There was only one problem, we only had two weeks holiday and could have stayed there a lot longer and hope to return one day! We would recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of life.
