Timberframe chalet, hidden on 10 acres surrounded by forest, mountains, and creeks, and you relaxing on the balcony while planning your next day's adventures. Two bedrooms plus a loft upstairs along with a reading nook with fantastic views of soaring cliffs above the property. Downstairs has in-floor heating and a wood stove, living room, a full bath and a South facing kitchen with a bbq just outside the back door.

The location is approx 15 minutes south of Golden, or 30 minutes from Kicking Horse Resort. It sits on ten wooded acresat the foot of the Rockies, with a view of the Columbia Valley from the balcony. It is the only home on the property, so you have it all to yourself.

Left on 09/05/2012 for a stay in July 2012
New, cozy chalet, very clean and well equipped only about 15 minutes from town of Golden. Loudest noise from bees buzzing among the wildflowers and bird calls. Stillness and fresh air and perfect after a busy day sightseeing or hiking. Loved coffee on the the deck and fire pit in the evenings. Caught an early morning glimpse of a grazing deer. A wonderful spot to unwind, good for kids as well.
