The Green Chalet is a three and a half bedroom chalet nestled on it's own private 3 acres surrounded by the Rocky Mountains, just minutes from Golden, a world-class ski resort, mountain biking trails and an award-winning golf course.
The chalet has a private outdoor hot tub overlooking the valley and ski resort, fully-equipped luxurious kitchen with stainless appliances and dishwasher, living room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the mountains, in-floor heating, marble floors, a wood burning fireplace, private gas barbeque, air conditioning, wireless internet, large flat screen TV, DVD player and i Pod docking station.

The Green Chalet was the perfect setting for a more relaxed second week touring the Rockies. The views are amazing, made even better by viewing them from the hot tub! The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen area was very well equipped. The barbeque was more than adequate. The verandah offered a very comfortable place to enjoy the views. The chalet has great privavcy and seclusion but is by no means isolated, having an amazing restaurant on your doorstep sealed the deal for me!

My husband and I stayed for four nights and our 2 adult children joined us for the last two nights. We were thrilled with our choice of accommodation in Golden! We walked in and all we could say is "wow" as we explored the chalet. All of the finishings and details were top-notch!
Everything is well laid out. It is obvious a lot of effort went into the planning and design of the chalet. No sound carried up from anyone occupying the Sun Suite below at all, because of the cement floors (which in themselves are very beautiful)!
There is lots of privacy separating the bedrooms, so it would be a perfect place for 3 couples to stay.
Darrin and Shannon were very kind, accommodating and helpful. I had fallen (off-premises), and when we requested a mattress topper for my sore back, Darrin brought it up right away. Our wi-fi was a little spotty at times and our daughter needed to do online homework, so Darrin had that quickly remedied as well.
The view is spectacular, the hot tub wonderful, we loved sitting out on the huge wrap-around deck. We felt very much at home for our five day stay, and would eagerly return again!
