Great Blue Lodge is a large luxury lodge basking in the majesty of Mount Hood Oregon. It is located in Government Camp, a quaint mountain town with restaurants and pubs. There is a brew pub located across the street and lifts are within walking distance. Ski/snowboard all year around or go hiking and mountain climbing in the summer season. There is an adventure park close by. I am glad this home is back on the rental market. I rented this home 3 years ago and have been wanting to rent it again ever since. The new owners have completely re-done the entire house. From the carpets, to the beds, to the enterainment, everything is new new new new new.
The location is directly across from SkiBowl and a short walk to the heart of gov'y. The cabin, being 3 floors, was large enough to accomadate my group, but the layout of the 2nd and 3rd floor is open, so we feel don't like we are seperated.
The biggest selling feature to me is the huge dining room table. A sit down, family style dinner is important to enjoy the company of my friends and family. The living area is also surrounding the fireplace, which is perfect to host board games.
We didnt use the upstairs Poker table, tv, or gaming systems as we were out enjoying the snow, but I am sure this is a selling feature for groups with kids.The cabin also has board games available for your group to use.
The ambiance and amenties of the lodge left my group with warm memories of the holiday season. I am excited to rent this again for next year.
