The most relaxing week pre- wedding!

Left on 05/21/2013 for a stay in April 2013

A lovely, peaceful place to stay. Just off, but a couple of minutes before the main Grace Bay centre, we had a comfortable, well equipped apartment, with 2 bedrooms. Brendan was a great host, checking throughout our stay, that everything was up to scratch. Considering that he and his wife had just had their first baby, he went above the call of duty! The pool was lovely and the silence and peace was so relaxing. We will be back! And the beach is just across the road with sunchairs and umbrellas. Thanks Brendan and Heather (and the new baby!)

Great Value, ideal location and the friendliest owners on island

Left on 04/19/2013 for a stay in April 2013

My husband and I just returned from our stay at Grace Bay Place and words can't describe what a wonderful time we had! The apartment is perfectly located, just a short walk to the most beautiful beach in the world. The accommodations were perfect! We spent every morning for breakfast and many evenings on the screened in patio.

We had a spacious poolside suite which was surrounded by lovely gardens
and palm trees. The apartment included a fully stocked kitchen, big screen TV with
satellite and everything else you could need - beach towels, extra pillows and blankets,
books, laundry facilities - you name it.

We rented a car from Grace Bay Rentals, which was great as we could run all around the island. Brendon the owner was a wonderful host and provided great recommendations! His favourite beach bar Bugaloos became our favourite too! And Taylor Beach was gorgeous, beautiful shallow blue water and huge sandy beach. Brendan also provided free wi-fi, which was great for staying connected in paradise and a local cell phone that you can add minutes to as needed.

If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with everything you need within walking distance
you won't be disappointed. When we come back to Provo there's no question where
      we'll stay.

A Week of Relaxation at the Perfect Place

Left on 04/14/2013 for a stay in March 2013

Perfect choice if you are looking for a clean, comfortable, convenient and affordable condo. Check in was a breeze. Brandon was attentive to anything we needed including advice on places to snorkel, rentals, restaurants and a driver to take us to the airport. Best advice came from Heather's mom, Sue whom was visiting from Canada. She told us about the wonderful French pastries at the Caicos Cafe which is within walking distance of the condo. Renting bikes is the way to go as the location is close to beautiful beaches and reefs for snorkeling, many shops and the grocery store. We biked to the Thursday night fish fry at Bight Park which I highly recommend and rented a car just one day to see the island and to have dinner at Da Conch Shack. We've already recommended Grace Bay Place to a neighbor whom has an upcoming honeymoon. We'll be back in the future. Thanks Heather and Brandon!

      Great location and affordable too.

Left on 03/25/2013 for a stay in March 2013

We rented a two bedroom unit which was actually on two floors so it was really a semi-detached house (or duplex, if you're american!). Therefore only the ground floor bedroom and bathroom would be accessible if you are disabled.

There is a spacious and comfortable living room, well equipped kitchen, one bedroom and bathroom and a lanai on the ground floor, with the second bedroom and bathroom being above on the first floor. Please note that the first floor bedroom doesn't have a door!

My only criticism of the house is that it in need of a little bit of maintenance, as the one of the kitchen cabinet doors was in need of replacement, and several of the lightbulbs needed replacing. There was also a washer/dryer that didn't work, although there were other washing facilities on the development for guests to use.

The very best things about the unit are (1) its location, which is only 5 minutes from the beach or Grace Bay shops and supermarket and (2) the managers who live on site and owners (who happened to be visiting when we were there) who make you feel like family. There are only 4 holiday rental units so its a really lovely, friendly atmosphere and the owners got everyone together for a barbecue and even took us out to a restaurant one afternoon, not to mention running us to the airport on our departure.

      affordable and friendly location

Left on 03/21/2013 for a stay in February 2013

Spent two weeks here and loved it. Beautiful surroundings close to, but not in the middle of the developed part of, Grace Bay. Brendan and Heather made us very welcome and helped us get our way around with great recommendations for restaurants and beaches. The pool was a godsend in the heat and there were plenty of shady areas to escape from the sun. Well-equipped kitchen had everything we could need and it was an easy walk to Graceway Gourmet for provisions. There were a few niggly things we had to point out like broken lightbulbs but they got fixed and the beach chairs are looking a bit tired. Great neighbours during our two week stay including Doug and Gail down from Canada. Would love to return if we can afford the flights!!!

      Quiet. Comfort. Home.

Left on 01/22/2013 for a stay in January 2013

Recently taken over by a young couple who are as kind as they are attentive, Grace Bay Place is located within walking distance of: Grace Bay beach (5 min), Graceway grocery store (10 min), Regent Village and Salt Mills shopping complexes (3 min), restaurants and bars (5 min), and car rentals (5 min). Yet, despite being so close to so many services, you are still far enough that you feel as though you are in an oasis of peace and quiet.

      The one bedroom unit had:
A full kitchen with pretty much everything: fridge, stove, microwave, pots & pans, cutting board, utensils, plates, glasses, coffee maker, bottle & can openers, salt & pepper, and ice trays. We also found some items presumably left by previous guests, such as sandwich bags, coffee filters and aluminum foil. The only items we had to purchase ourselves was a flat aluminum oven pan, which costs 2$ at the grocery store.

A living room with a comfortable couch, some books & magazines, satellite TV and DVD. The kitchen and screened-in patio also both have small eating areas with tables and chairs.

A simple bathroom with an enclosed shower, sink, abundant storage space and great towels. There is a water tank, so the hot water runs instantly.

A bedroom with a very comfortable queen bed & four pillows, ample storage space, closet with hangers, and a separate closet with the water tank and a safe. The safe is “briefcase” style, bolted to the wall.

Each room had ceiling fans and, combined with the nice breeze, we were so comfortable that we never used the air conditioning.

The outdoor area includes: a common use BBQ, some hammocks, lounge chairs and a pool that goes from 4 to 8 feet deep. The pool area, surrounded by lush vegetation and tall palm trees, has a balanced mix of sunny and shady spots and is very peaceful.

Other very useful services that are included: A section of beach chairs reserved for guest use already at the beach (so you don’t have to carry them), a small cooler, plush beach towels, a beach umbrella, a cell phone (preloaded with 10$ of talk time), free & reliable Wi-Fi and gated parking. A washer and dryer are also available at 4$ per load.

Overall this peaceful, well located, unpretentious place is a little slice of heaven. Sure, the pastel peach walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but this place is an awesome value and perfect for down-to-earth people who are looking for a sliver of paradise.
      We’ll be back for sure.

Loved it! Heather and Brandon are great hosts and the location of Grace Bay Place is close enough to everything to not need to rent a car yet far enough to be out of the way if you want some peace and quiet. It is also cheaper than staying at a resort and had a very private feeling with only the total of, I believe, 12 units on the property. Never saw more than 2 other people at the pool at the same time and could walk to numerous restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner or have an option to cook ourselves (never did).

Thank you Doug for making us sooo welcome at Grace Bay Place. We had such a lovely time the accommodation , location, friendly Islanders and weather were perfect . The kids thoroughly enjoyed their stay ,enjoying the pool the sunshine the restaurants and the fantastic snorkelling at Coral Gardens and Turtle Cove. Richard and I enjoyed the peace and relaxation that Grace Bay offers. No scrum for sunbeds, aqua aerobics around the pool or constant music blaring at you. Thank you soo much for showing us the beautiful Island and sharing dinner at the Tikki Hut. Also a great evening at the Somewhere Bar and a BBQ on Sunset Beach at Sunset..

A very relaxing place to stay. Very close to shops, Grace Bay beach and the resorts along the beach. Doug, our host was superb. He made us feel very welcome and at home and even took us on a couple of car rides before we got our rental car. The pool area is a nice shady retreat to shelter from the midday sun.
We liked the appartment, it was very spacious and clean. It was well equipped and the house cell phone was useful for making local phone calls.
I would recommend Grace Bay Place to anyone wanting to stay in Provo in a central location but also demanding good value for money. Were not disappointed.

As another reviewer wrote, all the good things people have previously written are so true.
Doug & Gail are lovely, wonderful people & we really enjoyed our time there. Everything we needed was there for us. They could not have been more welcoming. The 1 bedroom rental was clean, cozy & comfortable. The grounds are beautiful with palms, bougainvillea flowers, papayas & a pool. The beach is a very short distance away as is the grocery store, shopping area & several great restaurants. Doug & Gail were very helpful with their suggestions & Doug took us around different parts of the island when he did errands. We are so happy we stayed here & can't wait to go back.

We had a great stay. The owners were welcoming, the unit was clean and provided all the necessities. The property is in a great location walking distance a few minutes to the beach and also walking distance to restaurants and stores. My 11 year old daughter enjoyed the pool and the two dogs company (Lilly and Gwip). The owners (Doug and Gail) were accommodating and were also wonderful in providing information on places to go and sites to see. We had a very laidback stay with lots of awesome time on the beach and snorkelling. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful place to just relax! My husband and I just wanted to get away and spend some time on a beach where we could sun and snorkle. Although, Grace Bay Place isn't right on the beach, it was only a 3 min. walk. The water was incredible shades of blue/green. There are plenty of restuarants and a grocery store (if you want to cook) within walking distance. Doug Sr., his wife Gail and Doug Jr. were wonderful hosts with tips on what to do and where to eat. They will drive you to the grocery store when you arrive to stock up. We had a great time and are looking forward to staying there again someday.

      Absolutely Wonderful Holiday

Left on 07/29/2011 for a stay in April 2011

My wife and I recently stayed at Grace Bay Place from apr. 4-16. Being our first trip to Turks and Caicos, we were not quiet sure what to expect. I corresponded with Doug Wood, the owner, via email and also spoke on the phone. He was very helpful, providing information about the local area and answering our many questions. When we arrived at the airport, the taxi took us to Grace Bay Place where we were met by Doug Sr. and his wife Gail. Once we got settled in, Doug Sr. took us to the local grocery store to stock up on food and refreshments. Our accommodations were very clean, comfortable and exactly as described on their website. The resident guard dog Gwip (perhaps the sweetest dog we've ever met) would make her daily rounds for crackers and cheese.

As it turned out, the Wood family and friends were having a get together during our stay. We were always included in activities from going for drinks to excursions on their Boat to the many local cays and islands. This was the highlight of our trip. The entire family was very helpful and couldn't do enough to ensure we had an enjoyable stay.

Grace Bay Beach was a 5 minute walk across the road. There is only one word to describe this beach 'Paradise'. My wife and I were amazed at how few people were on the beach. A perfect location for those wanting sun, sand and relaxation. Also, no soliciting which was nice.

We normally stay at 'All Inclusive' resorts when travelling down south. After this last trip, we will never stay at another all inclusive again. During our next trip to Turks and Caicos, which will hopefully be soon, we will definitely be staying at Grace Bay Place. Thanks for a fantastic vacation!

This is a perfect place to stay if you prefer to spend your holiday budget on excursions, sight-seeing and other outdoor-things, rather than spend it all on an expensive hotel room on Provo. The apartment was fully equipped, so we made breakfast and lunch at home, but tried different restaurants at the hotels located on the beach (which was very successful). The owner/family gave us so many good tips, helped us with transportation to different things, and had even a cell-phone in the apartment for our use the whole week. The beach is only a short 5 minute walk from the place, and all the shops are also within 5-10 min walk. We felt us so welcome at this place, and would definitively come back - if we get the chance to do so.

Affordable, clean, great location for beautiful Grace Bay Beach

We just returned from a two week holliday during Christmas at Grace Bay Beach in Provedenciales, TCI. My wife and I were very happy that we found accomodation at Grace Bay Place from T.A. There are one and two bedroom accomodation with kitchens, pool, barbeque, and a fantastic location only a five minute walk to the beach and five minute walk to the food store, liquor store, restaurants and tourist shops. It is a very clean, quiet, private, safe and more economical way to stay on this island that can be pricey at times. The owners Doug and Eden were excellent with airport pickup and drop off and even took us to the local IGa supermarket to stock up on supplies the first day. The owners treat the guests as friends. We enjoyed having the kitchen and barbeque so we did not have to go out for every meal. I would recomend bringing any specialty foods with you. You can google the Grace Bay Place website for more information. We rented a car one day and went everywhere on the island, otherwise we were happy to be with in walking distance to everything. We look forward to returning one day.

We had a wonderful 10 day stay at Grace Bay Place. It is exactly as advertised. Our host met us at the airport, helped us orient ourselves to the area and was kind enough to take us to the local grocery store to stock up on items for the stay, including a fun side trip to the wine emporium. The units have everything you need and if you so choose, there is no reason to do anything other than hang out there around the pool or go to the beach. The beach is truly a short 5 minute walk, one block from the stunning Grace Bay Beach. There are chairs on the beach for the use of house guests. The place is ideally suited to very young families or retired folks. We definitely plan on returning.
This was our first visit to Turks & Caicos. There are lots of activities and we did have fun fishing one day as well took a snorkel excursion on another day.The real surprise was the phenomenal choice of excellent restaurants. We tried 12 different ones and enjoyed every one. Most had tremendous ambiance and were outdoors.
We do recommend renting a car as the cabs were hit and miss.

I selected Grace Bay Place based on the other reviews I read. I am so glad I took the time to find this gem. My niece and I spent a week at GBP. We were looking for a quiet, affordable and centrally located vacation rental and found it. 3 minute walk to the best spot on the beach (perfect view); 10 minute walk to anything we wanted. Plan to make this an annual vacation spot and have already recommended it to several friends who are looking for a new vacation place.

We traveled to the TCI for relaxation and beautiful weather. The accommodations at Grace Bay Place were comfortable and very affordable. There was a fully stocked kitchen for extra convenience. The property was nicely landscaped, had a beautiful pool area, and is incredibly convenient to shops, restaurants, and the grocery store. The hospitality from the owners and other guests was unbelievable. They took us to the grocery to pick up some snacks as soon as we arrived. There was also a cell phone provided that gave extra comfort to our stay.

The walk to the beach was really quick, 3-5 minutes to Grace Bay beaches. The beach was more private than the high traffic resort areas, being more peaceful and clean.

We would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an affordable, relaxing vacation.

Left on 03/13/2011 for a stay in March 2011

Grace Bay Place was a terrific find (by my wife). The owners are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and bright, and the kitchen was fully-adequate for our needs (and saving money on food when you can is a big plus in Turks & Caicos). The pool looked nice, although we never used it because the beach was only 5 minutes away. The location is quite good:

      1) Very close to a nice clean beach, with beach chairs for the guests
      2) 5-10 minute walk to several restaurants / cafes / shops / excursion services, etc.
      3) 5 minute walk to a reputable car rental
      4) 15 minute walk to the grocery store
      5) 30 minute walk (on the beach) to some terrific snorkeling right offshore (no boat needed)

Again, the owners were terrific people who go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. No complaints whatsoever.

Clean condo rental in great Grace Bay location!

Left on 12/28/2010 for a stay in December 2010

Thank you, Doug & Eden, for providing such a great condo rental! The minute that Eden picked us up from the airport, we were at ease for our island vacation. She drove us to the local grocery to pick up stuff for the week, and both she and Doug were a phone call away if we ever needed anything. Clean, tidy condo - no frills, full kitchen with utensils and kitchenware, beach towels provided, screened-in porch was so great to have and relax in. Gwyp, the resident dog for the property, was friendly. Condo is in a great location - steps from the beach and walking distance to anything you need or want to do in the Grace Bay area. They also provided a cell phone for any local calls - useful for booking reservations for activities and restaurants. Highly recommended for visiting Provo on a budget!

      Serenity now!

Left on 11/24/2010 for a stay in October 2010

This was one of the best finds I came across on my internet search for TCI. The owners Doug and Eden were very courteous and were great hosts. I spent a week in their one bedroom villa and it was worth it!
I was picked up at the airport and driven to this quaint little villa, set back off the road. It was better than I had anticipated, with a very relaxed, homey feeling. It had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.
I met the two resident dogs, but spent most of my time with Gwyp, who kept me company most nights.
Doug was so kind as to take me to the car rental agency to get a car, and helped me get settled.
It was a very relaxing atmosphere. The pool was great and just going out on the deck to enjoy the fresh air was serene.
It's close to everything you could need. A stones throw away from the beach across the street, and all the shops of Grace Bay are just down the road, as well as great places to dine out.
This was a great value for the money and I plan on staying there again on my next trip back!

Excellent Choice in Turks and Caicos

Left on 11/02/2010 for a stay in September 2010

My husband and I spent our 26th wedding anniversary here in September. The island is amazing and if you are looking for a way to do it on a budget GBP is definately the place. There is no ocean view but in a short walk you can be to the most amazing beach. Doug picked us up at the airport as planned, let us get settled in and then took us to the grocery store. We arrived on Sunday and couldn't buy alcohal so he brought us some cold beer from his home. September is definately slow season and alot of things on the island were closed but Doug recommended 2 snorkel trips which were a blast. We rented a car the middle of our trip and explored the island and found some amazing sites and restaurants. There will be no surprises at GBP. It is just like what you see on the internet. We hope to bring friends next time and rent the 2 bedroom unit.

      Excellent choice for budget travelers

Left on 09/22/2010 for a stay in August 2010

We were honeymooning on a budget. Our criteria: A clean, private place with a kitchen (so we could cook most of our meals), close to a gorgeous beach and, ideally, with a pool. Grace Bay Place totally fit the bill.

The price for the week was extremely reasonable, and I looked around at all different islands in the Caribbean and Hawaii. I was worried this would be too good to be true, but it wasn't. It was just right for us. While the unit is no-frills--and it was pretty hot inside, except the bedroom, which thankfully had an aC unit--it was kept up nicely and the pool was right outside our door. We used our screened-in porch a lot. Doug, the owner, was the perfect host: Very accommodating, available and friendly, but not at all intrusive. He gave us great recommendations about the island as well. There's a super-sweet dog that lives on the property, so if you're allergic, you might want to mention that before booking.

The beach was across the street, about a 5-minute walk. I wish GBP had a designated, sturdy umbrella and lounge chair set-up there, but it didn't. Not a huge deal for us; we mostly walked the beach, anyway. Gbp is walking distance from the shopping plaza, a nice grocery store and many of the big resorts/restaurants, which was great.

If you're looking for a pampered, maid-service-twice-a-day, luxurious experience...well, this isn't that. But if you're looking for something homey, relaxed and low-key, where you can settle in and feel like you're living there, you'll do great here. It was a terrific home base for an amazing honeymoon. I'd go back tomorrow if I could!

      Vacation in Turks

Left on 09/21/2010 for a stay in July 2010

We had a wonderful time in Turks and Caicos. We rented a one bedroom condo from Doug and were so happy that we did! He truly made our experience a memorable one. He picked us up at the airport, took us to pick up our rental car and provided us with a cell phone filled with minutes. Talk about service! The condo was great, had everything that we needed, including cold beers and water in the fridge! His recommendations as to which hotels were good to hang out at, where the beach parties were and where there was good snorkelling were right on! Doug and his wife Eden even had us over for a bbq one night with the other guests that were there. They made us feel very welcomed. We would definitely recommend Grace Bay Place as a rental. You cannot beat the value and location. We would definitely stay there again over any of the hotels that we visited. Thanks again Doug and Eden!!!

      Perfect getaway

Left on 07/17/2010 for a stay in April 2010

I stayed at Grace Bay Place in april 2010 and it was the perfect escape away from my busy work life. Doug and Eden were phenomenal hosts. Doug picked me up at the airport and drove me to the local grocery store to pick up provisions. Doug and Eden were very attentive to my needs, offering to set up diving/snorkling excursions, etc, but also respectful of my desire to simply do nothing and enjoy myself. They also showed me some of the night life at local bars and restaurants.
The facilities at Grace Bay Place are excellent. A full kitchen meant that I could take the time to make meals, while the screened-in patio allowed me to enjoy the weather while eating. The facilities are also within close proximity (easy walking distance) to local shopping and resaurants, as well as a few minute walk to the beach where there are lounge chairs provided.
Overall, I would recommend Grace Bay Place to anyone and everyone, and already have. Regardless of whether you're travelling solo like I did or travelling witha family, Doug and Eden will make you feel and welcomed and like a part of their own family.

      Great stay

Left on 07/08/2010 for a stay in June 2010

My wife and I stayed for a week here in June of 2010 and had a fantastic time.
What really made it memorable was the personal care paid to us by our hosts. We were picked up at the airport by Doug, who dropped us off and waited while we freshened before taking us to the local grocery store to stock up on provisions.
Doug and his wife continued to pamper us during the remainder of the week - from a great smoked-ribs dinner to showing us the local bars.
The location is also great, within walking distance of Grace Bay and the main street shopping area.
We are definitely planning on returning.

Left on 06/30/2010 for a stay in April 2010

The best part about staying at Grace Bay Place is that it is family owned with the owners living on site, and son close by. They are friendly and always willing to talk about the area. The place is quite centrally located to shops, restaurants and grocery store. The apt itself is modest and comfortable. There is about a 5 min walk across the road to the beach, and you can't see the ocean at all till you are on the beach. The only thing I would suggest is to offer beach umbrellas to make sitting on the beach chairs more comfortable. It is too hot in TCI to spend much time on the beach without shade. Overall a wonderful experience.

We feel very fortunate to have discovered this wonderful place.

Left on 05/05/2010 for a stay in April 2010

We just returned from a week at Grace Bay Place. We were picked up at the airport by Doug and his wife Eden and taken to our home away from home.
We had booked a 1 bedroom but were given a 2 bedroom because of its' availability. Right from the beginning, it felt right. The accommodations were very homey, comfortable and clean. There was a screened in gazebo where we spent much of our time plus the pool was only steps from the back door!
After being given a while to settle in, Doug took us to a terrific, modern grocery and a liquor store, which in fact were a convenient 10 minute walk from the condo. He shopped with us. He gave us alot of tips and ideas on things to do, places to see, directions on how to get there.
Some great shops, restaurants and car rentals were within a 5 min. walk.
Our vacation from then on was one of peace and quiet, life at our own pace. No noise at the pool or on the grounds, no time limits. Such a "breath of fresh air".
We had the pleasure of meeting one of Doug's dogs, "Gwyp", a gentle soul who visited those who needed a little canine company.
The huge beach was a 5 minute walk away. The first sight of the ocean was breathtaking! There were lounge chairs on the beach for our use and a large umbrella at the condo to take with you if needed.
A few days into our trip, Doug treated us to an unexpected and awesome cruise in his boat to see some of the islands and canals. Incredible sights.
It deserves repeating the calm setting of the condo and it's grounds. We usually had the pool to ourselves. There were several units there but we seldom saw anyone except Moses, the fellow that helped out with the maintenance. Doug and Moses made it a point to keep noise to a minimum when working on any projects.
The pros of Grace Bay Place? Honestly, everything from meeting Doug and Eden at the airport to our departure. Our experience at Grace Bay Place was perfect for us. Cons? Well...having to leave!
Save us a spot for next year. Thanks.

Too good to keep to ourselves

Left on 04/08/2010 for a stay in March 2010

While researching vacation packages and hotels, we discovered Grace Bay Place. The description immediately piqued our interest: great location on Grace Bay, private apartment with full kitchen and BBQ, pool, all linens provided, walking distance to grocery store and great restaurants and reasonably priced. From our first contact we were impressed with Doug and his helpful attitude. He not only answered questions about the rental, but also our "touristy" questions about Turks and Caicos. And this was all before contracting to rent the apartment! Included in the rental was airport pickup and drop-off, and a trip to the grocery store. This was a much appreciated perk! Throughout our stay we were well looked after. Each day we were greeted as valued guests and friends. Opportunity was given to ask questions, get feedback on tourist options, or just comment on the weather. One day our hosts graciously offered to take us and some of the other guests on a drive around the island to see flamingos. We did see a few, while enjoying a lovely drive and beautiful scenery! Treats like that are not to found everywhere. Grace Bay Place provided everything we needed for an unforgettable vacation, but they also went above and beyond the requirements of duty. We would love to keep this place as our little secret, so that it will be available to us should we ever make this trip again. However, it is a gem that should not be kept to ourselves. If you want to get away from hotels and restaurants and have the privacy of your own apartment with the ambiance of a bed and breakfast, Grace Bay Place is wonderful. We would definitely stay there again.

      Unencumbered Relaxation

Left on 04/01/2010 for a stay in March 2010

My wife & I were looking forward to 10 days of no hassles, no worries, no overhead relaxation. We specifically searched for a place that was a bit off of the path but not too far as to make it a hassle to get places. When we found Grace Bay Place in our web search, we at first thought it might be a hoax based on the low rate that they were asking. That thought evaporated from our first interaction with the Wood family. They went out of their way to welcome us and make of feel at home. The apartment had the exact amenities that we were looking for; the ability to cook full meals, the comfort to be able to "hang out", and the privacy to be "lost" from the rest of the world. The beach was an easy 1 block stroll. The pool was clean & refreshing. The choice of gas/coal grills provided for great cookouts. The hopitality of the Woods family gave us insights to the island history and features that were worthwhile to see so that we didn't waste time & money. We had a wonderful time with them and another vacationing couple during a rainy afternoon when they invited to us to a local resturaunt with them. We were treated as "locals", not as tourists. Everyone was warm and friendly.
Note about Turks & Caicos in general: This is a place were you go for the beach and water and escape, not necessarily about the island itself. It is a relatively ugly, scrub brush & catus filled landscrape. There are no tourist crowds. The food is relatively expensive. The resturaunt service is slow, consistantly, so you have to park expectations at the door, no matter how much you pay.

We got exactly what we came for; relaxation in a warm, comfortabable space at a reasonable rate, with friendly people!

We stayed at this accommodation in sept and would highly recommend it .
The most beautiful beach in the world is literally 5 min walk from your front door , restaurants bars and supermarket are all within easy walk also .
The accommodation has lovely pool area with barbeque , hammocks and plent of sun loungers .
The area is lovely and quiet to sunbathe and relax.
I would recommend hiring a car as the island as so many beautiful beaches to go and see , although hiring it for 1 week is plenty as the island is not large.
The apartment has everything you would need for you stay , if there was anything else you did require im sure doug and eden would do their best to organise for you .
We will def be returning in the future .

Thanks guys for making our holiday :)
