Condo was very nice, clean and comfortable. Hardly used the air conditioning as the breeze through the windows was awesome.Coffee maker was a bit of a pain. Over flowed a few till I mastered the art of it. Victoria was very helpful. The cat was very friendly and great company on the deck. This is very close to one of the best beaches we've been to. You can walk forever on the beach. Would have been nice to have a place to lie on the beach but the chairs were easy enough to carry. Lots of places to eat. We loved the Indian restaurant close by. It's nice to have a vehicle to explore. Horse back riding was great and the guides were awesome. Loved the watersports on the beach. Look out for Jo Jo the dolphin. Thanks for a wonderful time. Swell to find everything under one roof! we have done plenty of apartment and condo rentals worldwide. So nice when everything you could want or need is provided at the rental: beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, cell for local calls, wifi, all major appliances, cookware etc. [plus the added bonuses of a jacuzzi tub and "garfield" the cat] . since it was just the two of us didn't really explore the upper portion of the unit...Victoria, owner, is very quick on email / texts - usually within minutes of a sent question you receive back a prompt reply.
Location is great. Right behind Grace Bay Club and a short walk to shops. As advertised one really doesn't need a car. However we did rent from nearby avis to better explore Provo. We visited during low season - and maybe from time to time we may have *inadvertently*, borrowed a well known beach fronting resort's semi-permanent sources of shade @ Grace Bay. Not sure we would have done this over a high season stay. However outside of Grace Bay (via rental car excursions) it was a must to pack your own umbrella, chairs, cooler and beach towels. Again nice to have said items on hand to pack - really made the outings more doable. not a lot of natural shade to rely on at other areas (exception being Long Bay)... -

This modern, clean, centrally located apartment made our dream a reality. I never thought we'd be able to afford a Turks and Caicos vacation but by renting this apartment from august 7 - August 16th, my family was able to have our most memorable vacation to date. A 5 minute walk to the most unbelievable beach I've ever set foot on. Truly a Caribbean paradise, sunsets included. Our family had a great time diving off of the pier, snorkeling at Coral Gardens and Smith's Reef. Definitely rent a car and check out Sapodilla Bay, Taylor Bay and Chalk Sound. A 5-10 minute walk to restaurants, bars, shopping, car rental, groceries, snorkeling, etc. Clean, spacious and comfortable. A modern unit with all the required amenities including state of the art kitchen appliances, washer and dryer, a pool and BBQ area that we had to ourselves all week, beach towels and beach chairs. The unit also had a Jacuzzi tub. The owners were available for anything we needed and Victoria made the rental process a piece of cake. Garfield the Cat reminded us of our dear pets back home so much that we renamed her Mary after our own. I'll miss hanging with her on the patio for morning coffee. If you want to experience the beauty of Grace Bay Beach without the price tag that normally comes with it, check it out. You won't be disappointed.

All the perks of staying on the beach without the price... Just a short 2 minute walk to Grace Bay beach but we payed a fraction of what we would have had to if we booked at the resort we were considering. I also liked how much the unit felt like a home, not just a hotel room, we could have stayed for a month!!
Will be back in 2013! -

We stayed here in July 2012. We were really pleased with how close it actually is to the beach. It really was just about a 2 minute walk – basically across the street. This was super convenient. The unit was also very spacious and comfortable. Décor was nice and modern – more like a real home and not cheesy-Caribbean like so many places.
The pool was nice, as was the grilling area. There was also a bathroom outside by the pool so you didn’t have to go back to the apartment to use the bathroom when swimming. Being able to grill and cook your own food is also a nice way to save some money. Groceries are expensive, but this saves a lot over eating out every meal.
The unit has a water cooler with 5 gallon bottled water. This saved us a fortune in water. I was very happy to see this. I know it was full when we got there and I think the notes said there was an additional one available for guests. We had bottles from the plane, so we refilled those throughout the week. (Seriously, everything is crazy expensive in T&C;, so this did add up with as much water as I drink).
There were tons of beach towels available. I was thrilled not to have to do laundry at all while we were there. The master closet was very large for a vacation condo, and had plenty of hangers. The beach chairs were comfortable, and had shoulder straps that made them easy to carry.
I was very worried about the possibility of additional electricity charges, mainly from running the a/C (I like to sleep cold). We turned the units off while we were gone during the day and turned the kitchen unit off overnight, but kept the bedroom doors shut and those a/C’s running overnight and we were comfortable. We had no problem with our usage. So please don’t be scared off by this – just be conscious of your usage and not be wasteful and you should be fine.
The unit is a two story unit, and both of the bathrooms are downstairs. This wasn’t terrible, but our friend staying upstairs was disappointed to have to walk downstairs every time she needed to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. (Would not have stopped us from staying there, but was a bit inconvenient for the upstairs guest).
Also, the master bathroom does not have what I would consider a shower. It has a tub with a showerhead you can hold in your hand. This was disappointing to me, as I do not like this style of shower. (This is visible in the photo of the master bathroom – I just didn’t realize there was not a separate shower in the master). We all ended up using the other shower. It wasn’t a big deal in the end, but with such a nice master bathroom (it’s huge!), it was sad not to get to enjoy it much.
The photos show a pool and what appears to be a hot tub. However, we discovered that the “hot tub” has no heating element and no bubbles. We were very disappointed by this because the appearance of a hot tub is what made us chose this place over another.
Grace Bay beach has the most amazing sand. It was so fine and soft. And it’s very well protected so the water was super calm. Absolutely an amazing beach, and the location of this condo is great. The area was quiet and felt secluded, even though it was so close to the beach.
Overall, we really liked the place. It was comfortable and clean and served as a great home for us on our vacation. Victoria (owner) was a pleasure to work with and answered all of my questions in a very timely manner. -

A very nice home away from home,beds were comfortable and baths are very nice,roomy apt,kitchen is spot on,everything very accessible.Furniture in living area we felt was on the smallish side.Needs better lighting in dining room area.Directions need to be a little more specfic( if you are using a car) being that there is no GPS of Island.After the right turn at Villa Del Mar look for Number 11 on gateway to apt. If I didn't remember what the picture looked like of the entrance I may still be looking.This is my only complaint,other than that my family and I really enjoyed our stay.Prices on the Island are very high and we thought the Caymans were expensive. Don't forget to say hello to Garfield the Cat.

Thanks for the advice we put higher wattage bulbs in all the light fittings and we have now done a separate direction sheet for those arriving by car instead of by taxi. From the smoothness of the booking process, to the welcome upon arrival, the cleanliness of the centrally-located apartment right in the heart of Grace Bay, but literally only 2 mins walk to the best beach in the world!!! All-in-all it made for the best vacation we have had in a long, long time. We found the duplex to have every amenity and more that we required, was spacious, could sleep up to six in relative comfort, was designed with tasteful modern Caribbean decor, and was 5 mins walk from shops, restuarants, and supermarket. Will definately be returning soon...

The property and the accomodations were more than we expected. The home was clean, well kept and having a jacuzzi, especially for Valentine's Day was the best. The ammenities provided were more than sufficient. The owner provided all that was needed. The home was spotless and very clean, and everything was perfect for a truly wonderful vacation on such a tropical paradise. We are hoping to return soon and stay longer.

Our stay was great! Victoria was very attentionate from the reservation and througout the stay. The condo is beautiful and a lot of things are included in the rental which is greatly appreciated. The condo is well located and we can walk to the grocery, restaurants and of course the wonderful beach!!! Our kids loved their stay! It is perfect for a family vacation. Thank you!

After staying in numerous rentals on Provo this has to be the best! You couldn't ask for a better location...tucked away in its own private setting but just steps away from the beautiful Grace Bay beach! All amenties are on the door step including the local supermarket, restaurants and bars.The accomadation inside has a very high standard regards to the finishes, it is clean, and very comfortable.
Outside there is a pool, B-B-Q area and plenty of room to relax. The landlords are always on hand if needed and extremely accomdating...booking and payment was easy and I will definately be returning!!! Highly recomend this fantasic place!!! :0) -

This is an incredible gem, close to everything, and a quick walk to Grace Bay. The owners have outfitted the apartment with a gourmet kitchen, and furnished it quite nicely. As well, Vicky and Paul, the owner/managers, do everything in their power to make sure you have a good time. Everything in the Grace Bay area is an easy walk. Rent a car (in advance) for a couple of days to see the rest of the island, but...you will always gravitate back here. Excellent facility, and a great value!!

This is quiet in the midst of the crowds of Grace Bay. If you want to be on the prettiest beach without the hustle and bustle of Club Med types then this is the place for you. The accommodations are spectacular with a zen like decor and all the amenities you need for your home away from home. It is a very short walk to the beach at Grace Bay and a slightly longer walk to shopping. Unless you plan to rent a car, bring a wheeled bag or the like to bring groceries back to the place during your stay. The owners are absolutely fantastic. They provide a phone for your use while there and are most helpful in making suggestions of things to do to make your vacation great.
