Grace Bay Townhomes may not be on the beach, but it has so much more than the beach places I have seen! First, it is huge! For the price, you simply cannot beat the fact that you get to stay in an entire home! Second, it really is just about a block from everything! The owners can't describe how wonderful it is! I have traveled to a lot of places in my life, but this location in Provo is one of the best I have experienced

Wow, what a great place. It really is centrally located, close to the grocery store, beach, restaurants and the bakery.
We traveled with our 2 kids (6 months and 3 and a half years old) and our parents and Grace Bay Townhomes was great. This is a very spacious 2 bedroom townhome. There was plenty of room for all of us. The screened in dining room is where we ate all our meals and we spent a lot of time in the pool. The owners had provided for everything that we thought of. They were very friendly and welcoming.
The beach was amazing and you could walk forever. Being the cheap people we are, we ended up scrounging beach chairs and used the shelters in front of the failed resort(?) beside the Seven Stars. Perfect price, free!
The best playground was at the Island Scoop ice cream shop where Lisa was great shopkeep, Great place to sit and watch the kids play.
All in all it was a great vacation. -

We have just returned from Provo from a month's holidays and stayed with another couple for the last two weeks at Gracebay Townhomes. They loved the location and close proximity to all the amenities that Grace Bay has to offer. Scott & Dana where very helpful with any questions or requests we had.
The grounds where always clean and the pool always inviting.
The Condo had everything we needed to relax or cook a fabulous in house meal. We will look into returning here in our future get aways. -

My husband and I stayed here for one week with our 4 year old son. It was an ideal location for us - a private condo, but a quick walk to the beach, to the grocery store and to shops and restaurants. We didn't need a car but rented one (two car rental agencies within walking distance) on our last day to explore other parts of the island. The condo was spacious, comfortable and clean - we barely needed the aC, as there was a nice breeze for most of our visit. There was a gas grill, which we used a couple of times. It was critical, especially with the little one to have the washer/dryer which worked well. The pool was a great asset - though not heated so a little cool this time of year.
Dana and Scott met us on our arrival to the condo and were delightful. They made themselves available should we have any questions or issues. We had one problem with a toilet and Scott was over to fix it immediately.
We highly recommend this property and will come back. -

We stayed there the first 2 weeks of Jan and had a wonderful time.
The town home has everything you need for a great vacation. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, beach chairs and floaty toys for the kids.
Next time I would bring my own knives as they weren't great.
The pool is a nice quiet place to relax. Most days we were the only ones there.
The location of the town homes seems a bit isolated but in a good way, however it is close to all the best that Grace Bay has to offer.
It's very quiet day or night with the exception of the occasional barking dog at night...not a deal breaker.
We walked the path down to the beach or the pubs every night and never once felt unsafe.
Danna and Scott are great hosts and can give you tons of information about places to visit.
It's about a 6 min walk to a white sand, incredible beach. not crowded, just the right amount of people for people watching and felt very safe. We never felt we had to watch our stuff while we went for a swim or a long walk down the beach.
On the way to the beach is the Patty Place which has the best ice cream!
The Ports of call resort rents beach chairs right when you get to the beach. $10 for 2 loungers and an umbrella. Tristan is the beach chair guy (most days) and is very friendly and can also help you set up other activities like parasailing.
The Graceway Gourmet is 5 min walk and has everything you need, from nice produce, decent fresh meats and wine and liquor. Note: they can't sell liquor by law on Sundays!
A few prices:
Apples $2.99 a pound
bananas $1.66 a pound
bag of small peeled carrots $2.99
awesome locally roasted coffee $16.99 a pound
minute maid lemonade concentrate $2.79
Tropicana OJ $6.09 a liter
Turks head beer $11.49 for 6 (good beer)
Heinekin beer $15.99 for 6
Bambarra rum $16.99 (good rum) 1 liter
Pringles $3.09
Tuna steak $25 (yep $25 for a small one)
whole roasted chicken $10 (it's good, not a lot of meat but tasty...it would feed 2 and a kid)
whole uncooked chicken $10 (it's a good size and one of the better values)
They also sell stuff made at the Lemon cafe like hummus (excellent!)
You don't need to rent a car but I would recommend for a few days it as there are a places worth visiting.
Taylor Bay
Corral Gardens for snorkelling (and the Somewhere Cafe)
The bakery down the street is excellent as well as the Seaside cafe (great for a nice dinner at sunset)
It's a great place to stay and I highly recommend it! -

This was our choice after reviewing several all inclusive resorts and other properties. The property is a newer, modern townhouse with all the necessary amenities and convenience to a grocery store, the beach, restaurants and shopping. The pool is wonderful after a few hours at the beach. The gas grill was perfect as it's our preferred cooking method. While we rented a car from the airport location, there are several nearby avis, Grace Bay Car Rentals within walking distance. Just a short drive to the Leeward Marina, Provo Golf Club and fine dining (Coco Bistro was outstanding). Inclusion of a local cell phone was a nice convenience as well as WiFi for us and our college age daughters. We mixed up the beach with kayaking (Big Blue), snorkeling (Caicos adventures), golf, and a visit to the the Conch Bar Caves on Middle Caicos. Just an outstanding location for a family vacation. We also felt very safe as we drove around to see all the sites.

My husband and I along with our son and daughter-in-law spent a week at Grace Bay Townhomes. It was perfect in every way. The location of the townhome was ideal-close to a grocery store and many wonderful restaurants and an awesome bakery for those morning muffins! We biked all around and the walk to the beach is an easy one. The townhome is lovely with many fine features, and we loved the screened in porch at the back enjoying the view of the pool and the wonderful breezes. Scott and Dana are wonderful hosts, attending to every detail. We recommend this home away from home and our hope is to return soon!

Traveled to Turks & Caicos with a couple of friends and stayed at one of the Grace Bay Townhouses. The owners met us upon arrival with a very friendly welcome and to make sure that we would have everything that we needed for the week. The townhouse was very new, clean, and totally fit our needs! We were less than a 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, bars, and shopping. The location was so perfect, we could walk to everything. We rented bicycles one day and we did rent a car for a day trip around the island, but loved the convenience of being able to get anywhere in 5 - 10 minutes walking. We also felt that the price was a really good deal; especially compared to what you would spend at any of the resorts. The grounds were nicely kept and the townhouses were very private. We loved sitting by the pool in the morning with coffee or having a cold drink after a hard day at the beach! We also spent a lot of time sitting in our private screened porch area in the evenings. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone looking to visit Turks & Caicos; it was a beautiful place to stay!
