Town: Set just three miles south of the hilltop town of Ruthin, the small, peaceful village of Graigfechan lies to the north of Llangollen via the breathtaking Horseshoe Pass. With a pleasant pub that serves quality food, this lovely little town is a popular destination amongst walkers, due to it being the start of the Offa's Dyke Walk Five, a 5.5 mile scenic walk along the nearby Clwydian Hill Range. Also close by is the 700 year-old town of Ruthin which boasts half-timbered buildings clustered around St Peter's Square as well as numerous interesting shops and boutiques. There is also the Ruthin Craft Centre which houses work by internationally recognised artists and craftspeople. The River Dee offers exhilarating white water rafting whilst the scenic Lake Brenig, Moel Famau, Loggerheads Country Park and Clocaenog Forest are all close by for picturesque walks and fascinating bike rides.
All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
Had a good stay apart from a misunderstanding about our dog as it was not mentioned on website that owner only allowed small dogs as we have a german shepherd who is very well behaved we were made to feel uncomfortable also shower was broken and we were promised it would be mended but it wasnt which made it hard for us. So these things did mare it abit

place was nice and clean but i wish the real fire place was in action,instead of a electric stove,also there is a doorway leading to owner,s house in the living room that needs to be blocked off,as you can hear them talking next door.Also car parking not very good!

Very comfortable cottage, well equipt and very clean.
Ideal place if you want a quite place to stay but within easy
reach of lovely places to visit.
It must be lovely in the summer.
