The home and stables were both built with all stone indigenous to the region. Both feature arched windows and slate roofs. The main floor is approximately 3,200 square feet featuring oak floors through out. The home features four bedrooms all en suite plus and a main hall vanity bathroom. There are four fireplaces(two in bedrooms) and two built with all stone. In addition there is a beautiful sitting room off main entry with wonderful views of the site, stables and countryside. One of the most scenic regions of the county, Graiguenamanagh may well be considered a paradise by the outdoor enthusiast. Roughly translated as the 'Grange of the Monks', this historic setting offers fine views of the surrounding mountains, forest and river valleys, in addition to an abundance of natural wildlife. The region is particularly notable as an excellent spot for angling, and the river Barrow and Brandon Lake are both well stocked with salmon and trout.
Walking and hillclimbing are among the more popular pursuits of Graiguenamanagh area and with the South Leinster Way meandering through the lovely Barrrow Valley and traversing nearby Brandon Hill, you can enjoy fine views of the countryside can be commanded from the county's highest point .
For anyone interested in Golf Graiguenamanagh is at the centre of the South East sunshine circuit. It is within easy reach of Mount Juliet, Borris, Carlow and Enniscorthy.
