Gran Alicant is in the 'White Coast' region of Costa Blanca which is renowned for its great natural blue flag beaches and sand dunes. The nearest beach is the Carabassi which is just a 3 minute drive or about 20 minute walk away (approx 1.2km). Unspoilt long sandy beaches where you can hire sunbeds and parasols or take your own. Enjoy swimming in the clear waters of the mediterranean sea. There are many golf courses within an hours drive and the nearest being about a 25 minute drive away.

7 adults and 2 children stayed comfortably in this fantastic villa in May 2012. It is spacious, nice size pool, has aircon & ceiling fans, plenty of indoor & outdoor furniture and the basement is fantastic.
The fact that all bed linen, towels, cooking utensils etc were provided was fantastic, we needed for nothing.
Location wise the local shops are a 10 / 15 minute stroll away with very good restaurants & bars at really good prices.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa and we hope to return sometime in the future. -

I stayed in this villa for a few days with my husband & 2 friends. We wanted a relaxing break. Was our first time renting a villa. The property was just fantastic and exceeded our expectations. Our plan was to go & relax and also see if it would be suitable to bring our 3 children in the future. The whole weekend was such a treat. The villa is extremely well equipped. Beautiful terraces. Plenty of loungers. Everything you could possibly need is there.
There is a good choice of restaurants nearby and the usual shops. We stayed by the pool area most of the day because it was just so nice, quiet & relaxing. We took a bus to alicante & used the little touring train also to get a view of the area.
Our experience was so good, that we booked 2 weeks for 2012 within 24 hours of returning home so we can bring our children (ages 2 to 9).
We will hire a car this time so we can travel around and view surrounding areas. -

we have just come back from gran alacant yesterday and all i can say is we were very very pleased, everything you see on the internet about this villa is very precise. There were 12 of us stopping here ranging from 4 to 50+ year old we arrived on a sunday afternoon and were instructed how to pick the keys up which was done quickly and easily, the villa is very well maintained and very clean theres loads of nice little touches such as a pool table a playstation for the kids dvd players card sets books games etc there were 6 adults 2 teenagers and 4 smaller kids and we all enjoyed our stay, we had a slight problem with the pool but martin the owner rang me straight away and told me the pool man would be round and as said he came round and fixed it. there are shops and resteraunts just a 10 minute walk away and parks for the kids plus nearby beaches, all in all i would definatley stop there again and would definatley reccommend it to friends and families, the only dissapointment was that we had to come home!!

Stayed in this lovely villa in june with my wife and two teenage daughters and had a great time. Was our first villa holiday and it exceeded all our expectations. The place was excellent, spacious and airy it had all the comforts of home, the girls loved the basement game room as well as the pool! The area abounds with a selection of pubs and restaurants ( Try the various eateries at the Ga centre a 10 min stroll away ) or use the BBQ and fully equipped kitchen if you want to partake of home cooking. I can honestly recommend this villa for its location, stunning views, equipment,transport links, pool and atmosphere, on the whole just the best and only 10 mins journey from the airport.
Pros : Mozzy nets, 'train ' round gran alicante, local pubs were great, security for the kids
cons : Only had a week ! :( -

We stayed here for a week to celebrate a family birthday and everyone was very impressed with the villa and the surrounding area. Everything both inside and outside is immaculately presented, with excellent quality fixtures and fittings throughout the property. All the bedrooms are of a very generous size and both these and the bathrooms are fitted out to a very high standard.
The basement area is a hidden gem, with a pool table, large screen TV and two huge sofas to lounge on it will keep children of all ages entertained should the weather not be great. The shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants are a ten minute walk away (fifteen if you're taking a leisurely stroll) and it's only a twenty minute drive to the airport.
Everyone who stayed had a brilliant time and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone whether they are young or old. It was a wonderful holiday made all the better by the excellent villa we stayed at, thank you very much Martin for providing such a delightful villa.Response from Martin Troy - 08/02/2011

Stayed here for a week in april with my wife and 3 children. We all really enjoyed it there.
Very modern villa with modern quality furnishings. Well kitted out with all you can hope to have in a holiday location. Great views to alicante Bay & hills beyond. Large pool (though it was a bit chilly this time of year). Lots of channels on the Satellite TV.
Very easy to reach from the airport in 10 minutes. We had a car so travel to the beach was easy - 3/4 minutes max. We did use the local bus service which travels around Gran alacant and there is also a 'train' which circles every hour. Lots of shops and restaurants closeby. Walk to the main centre in 10 mins (15 if you take it very leisurely). Great range of bars and restaurants at affordable prices in the area.
The villa is located in a quiet, private area and we could relax on the terrace before retiring to a good nights rest. The kids loved the play area about 3/400 metres along the street.
A very enjoyable, relaxing holiday which we will definitely do again.
