Self-catering holiday house in the heart of the historical Albayzín quarter of Granada with wonderful views to the Alhambra and the Generalife gardens.
This lovely and cosy town house has been comfortably furnished to provide ideal accommodation for couples and families alike. It is located in a pedestrian street in the historic center at about 2 minutes walking distance from Plaza Nueva. It enjoys a wonderful and direct view to the Alhambra, the Generalife gardens and the Sacromonte.

The house lies in a pedestrian street the heart of the historical Albayzín quarter of Granada. From there all mayor sites in Granada (Alhambra, Generalife, Cathedral, Royal Chapel, etc.) are within walking distance. Public transport and taxi stands are available at Plaza Nueva at 2 min walking distance. Since the private traffic is restricted in the historic city center, the use of public transport, taxi and underground car parks is highly recommend. The cobble stone pavement advises not to make use of high heel shoes.

We were looked after brilliantly by Nadia who greeted us with enthusiasm and joy and led us up many steps to the apartment. This was well equiopped and comfortable with great views; we were able to sit on the roof gazing up at the alhambra. The location was excellent. Highly recommended.

Beautiful view, nice neighbourhood, just a very nice apartment. Nicely received by the lady taking care of the apartment. The kitchen is okay but not the best part of the place. Highly recommended though. There are quite a few stairs, but then it is the alhacena!

We enjoyed 9 lovely days at the Casa Mirador La alhacena. The place is charming, well equipped, clean, and has great views of alhambra from living room window as well as rooftop terrace. I'd also like to add that when I clumsily turned off the hot water system and could not get it restarted (despite having been shown how to use it the day we arrived), Arthur came over immediately with a fresh tank of gas and gave me a lesson on how it works. It's not small so much as snug, and with living room sofa and a rollaway, it easily sleeps four. We were delighted with it.
