a newly remodeled home just minutes from the Central Plaza, mixes old world charm with new world amenities. The beautiful red brick walls throughout the home gives you a feeling of both intimacy and warmth, while the hand made floor tiles offer coolness to the senses and to the touch.

The large living area is the perfect place to relax and review your day. The comfortable daybed offers additional sleeping as well as a great place to watch TV or read a good book. The patio area has additional seating with comfortable rockers and hammocks to while away the hours. A colonial house is not complete without at least one indoor garden. Casa Co...lonial offers you two gardens, one with a small pool where you can cool down and relax after a day of shopping or site seeing.

Both bedrooms have air conditioning, a queen bed and a full bath. The kitchen is fully equipped and opens to the back garden and pool area.

  We arrived about nine pm. A man was waiting for us, all the fairy lights on. He handed us the key and then rode off on his bicycle. It looked magical at night! My husband and I were traveling with our two children, 20 and 22. There are two bedrooms, each with a bathroom. At first we laughed at the tiny pool but it gets hot in Granada and at times all four of us were in it. The kitchen is well-appointed and our favorite appliance was the blender - we made smoothies every morning. The house is comfortable and full of atmosphere, with a beautiful, well-maintained tropical garden. There is a living area with TV, movies, and books, but we never used it. Much better to be in one of the hammocks sleeping or reading a book.
  
  I was very impressed with the property management firm, GPS. They are very efficient. When we arrived there was a full water bottle for us and when we ran out and I e-mailed the office, within half an hour a replacement arrived. There is a maid assigned to each of their properties. Carla has worked for GPS for 10 years and is there every day from 9 to 12 cleaning. She will also do your laundry. The property is completely secure, with two padlocks and a key lock, so you can leave the door open in the evening if you wish, with only the locked iron gate. Location is excellent - a ten minute walk to the main square in a very quiet neighborhood. We all loved Granada - there is a surprise around every corner, and I would stay at Casa Colonial again in an instant.

  Based upon a simple internet search, I became aquainted with Granada Property Services. With nothing more than the photos provided on thier website of "Casa Colonial", I rented the residence and wired the appropriate rent. With two (2) suitcases I arrived and moved-in effortlessly.
  
  Upon arrival, everything was pristine and I was extremely impressed by the famed "Colonial architecture" of this residence. I fell in love immediately: All guests that entered the residence were impressed by its granduer and opulance!
  
  The domestic staff was / is very warm and personable. It became even more of a treat that I developed a friendship with thier employees.
  
  Whether it was the two (2) garden, brick enclosed bedrooms, or pool, "Casa Colonial" captured by dreams and was a rewarding working-vacation.
  
  I found the neighborhood to be the best neighborhood in all of Granada, Nicaragua, and even developed lasting relationships with the neighbors, some of whom I employeed.
  
  In summary, most definitely I would recommend and do recommend that this company, Granada Property Services, and "Casa Colonial" to be a "Top-Notch" institution and "First-World" habitation.
