      Great location but noisy apt.

      Left on 01/02/2012 for a stay in December 2011

      This apt. is in a great location (Realejo neighborhood), close to everything. Walk up to the alhambra, the arab area, etc. Apt. is very secure with a lot of locks on the apt. door and locked lobby. There is a lift. The staff is great, two people came out at night to restart the router so I could get online as I was also working on this work vacation. One staff member went out of her way to show me where to park the car (expensive, about 18 euros a day). Great service. The apt was OK. A bit small, uncomfortable sofa but cute in decor. All Spanish stations although staff member had said there were Eng. stations. No biggie but they shouldn't have said. Make sure you turn off the towel heater in the small bathroom at night or it will ping loudly all night. There was little sound insulation. The windows were large with a lot of wood, a very poor insulator. One night the bar downstairs had a party below our window till 3 am, Apt. building is right off a small but busy street which was very noisy. This even though you have to sign a contract saying that you will be evicted without refund if you have a party in the apt. I guess you could have the party outside the apt. building and it would be OK. Kitchen small but well equipped with clothes washer. Heat worked well.

      An extremely comfortable, secure and centrallly located unit

      Friendly, helpful greeting by staff. The apartment is extremely comfortable, spacious, secure, well-equiped, quiet and centrally located. It was the best of the five Friendly Rental apartments we stayed in in Spain last October. Hifhly recommended.
