The Jazz Loft has bright, spacious rooms.

Four people, out of a maximum of 6, will enjoy a well-deserved rest in two homey, nicely coloured bedrooms, furnished with one double bed and two single beds.

The whole Loft is bathed by light entering through the balconies of the living room, whose decoration is based on a warm, lively and artful taste.

  Have you ever stayed at vacation rental you didn’t want to leave? After a week at the Jazz apartment, I could almost imagine living there. Comfort, convenience, location…it had it all. Alas, we had to go home.
  
  As I became older, I changed my travel “strategy.” Instead of following Rick Steves to the letter, jumping hotels every day, and sleeping on the night trains, I now look for a “home base” in a foreign land. I rather linger in one spot a bit longer, explore less touristy parts of the city, wonder the back alleys, take some side trips, and mingle with the locals. If you also want to experience rather than just visit Granada, consider staying at the Jazz.
  
  Reservations. I booked this apartment through FriendlyRentals.com. All my many questions were answered promptly in good English. Non-refundable deposit was required. Credit cards accepted; charged in Euros. Remember the foreign currency transaction fees. With the confirmation I was given the name and the phone number of the local contact in Granada.
  
  Arrival. I called prior to the trip, then again the day before arriving in Granada. Once at the train station I called yet again. Despite providing our exact arrival time, we had to wait at the entrance for about half an hour before Elsa rushed in on her moped. I was a bit upset standing in the drizzling rain with luggage. The cab will likely drop you off at the corner of Calle Principe and Calle Reyes Catolicos. The building is about 100 yards away on a quiet pedestrian-only street. Check-in took minutes. You will pay the balance plus a security deposit. We used a credit card.
  
  The apartment is located on the third floor of a mixed use building. The first floor has a law office. To reach the elevator, we had to walk up a steep flight of stairs. This might present a challenge for someone with heavy luggage or difficulty walking. The elevator is tiny and can barely fit two people. The building felt very secure with separate keys for the front door and the apartment.
  
  Once inside, we found the Jazz to be perfectly suited for an extended stay. It has two bedrooms and a large living room. One of the bedrooms has a queen size bed, the other a bunk bed great for kids. The living room is vast with a sleeper couch, dining table, a TV, and plenty of furniture. The bathroom is modest. The kitchen is very well equipped with a stove, microwave, coffee maker, dish washer, washing machine, and a large fridge. There are plenty of kitchen utensils and china. Free WiFi Internet. Everything was spotless.
  
  The apartment is conveniently located in the very center of Granada steps away from the Plaza de Bib-Rambla. All the major tourist attractions, great stores, and wonderful restaurants are just minutes away. A small tourist kiosk at the far side of the plaza can help you with most reservations. For major grocery shopping, walk to El Corte Inglés on Carrera de la Virgen, a pleasant 10-minutes stroll.
  
  We greatly enjoyed our week-long stay at the Jazz apartment. Without hesitation, I would recommend it for a couple or a small family looking for an extended visit to Granada. Forgo the hotel; stay among the locals.

  We had a perfect stay, every thing we saw in the pictures at the website was exactly what we were getting. The accommodation was perfect, very clean and everything was in order. We were received by very friendly people from Friendly Rentals, they explained everything in details about our accommodation and every for sightseeing. Payment was perfectly arranged. We are pretty sure that we will book with friendly rentals again.
