The condo of course has all the basics in terms of being able to store your things cook a meal and sleep. There is no Wi-Fi which is completely baffling in this day and age. The furniture is chipped- the rugs are Stained. The bed is about a 3 inch tall mattress probably pulled off a sleeper sofa. There are lamps on the nightstand that are wrapped around through the bathroom to be plugged in. no instructions on how to use the shower we -had to call in to find out and then saw a unit owned by aNother owner there were instructions and much nicer amenities. The large hot tub far and not worth it. The property tries to keep the changing room by the large hot tub heated but there is also a toilet in there so it's absolutely disgusting smelling. We use the hot tub outside of our unit. It was nice but the cover needed to be lifted and put back on - probably weighed about 90 pounds.
The lodge /ski hill were lovely -we went snowshoeing there. Some units come with lift tickets however our owners did not provide. The worst part of this experience is that I paid the exact amount of money last year to stay in a few if we modern and terribly convenience condo at Frasier crossing. Gorgeous furniture comfortable bed beautiful bathroom and all modern granite and woodwork throughout. Shame on me for thinking that Grandy would be more economical!
Actually the true topper of it was when we were getting ready to go to Winter Park to ski one morning and someone walked into our condo with the key! It had been double booked for a period of probably three days!! It was a nice family from Oklahoma thank goodness - And they were as upset as we were.
I left the booking office know of our displeasure with the security issues the outdated mess and the poor condition of the condo. She was kind and copy the owner and the owner has not reached out for anything. A lot of units are for sale and many permanent renters living there which indicates that there's nobody vacationing there.
rusitc and outdated

Our stay at kicking horse condos in Granby Ranch was a let down. We were expecting more for a ski in/out location.
There is no WiFi so if you need access, this is not the place for you. Also only one person could shower per hour without running out of hot water. The description said spa tub but it was moldy and that along with the hot water shortage kept us from trying it. The carpet between the master bedroom and bath had carpet tacks sticking up so we could not be barefoot. The bed was not comfortable and the comforter was polyester, scratchy and frankly gross. The washer and dryer both worked but bring your own soap and dryer sheets. They only provide 4 forks, four knives and four spoons for utensils so we had to run the dishwasher after every meal instead of once a day. The ice trays smelled so we didn't use them. We would not stay here again.
Great weekend getaway!

We stayed at the kicking horse lodge on a weekend getaway for a friends wedding. Very convenient to the slopes! Comfortable and relaxing place to stay... wish they allowed dogs, but oh well.

Everything went well, we have stayed in this unit multiple times and it works great for us.

Bed uncomfortable, bath tub had mold around it, and no internet, and washer did not work. Management company very responsive. Would not rent this unit again. Management said each owner at Kicking Horse makes decision about internet.

We enjoyed our stay in Kicking Horse Lodge 5-101. Everything was clean and up to date. Very nice unit. My only suggestion is to provide better lighting in the bedroom. Only has two lights by the bed with a very dim light. Makes it hard to see at night. Other than that it was great. I would love to return in the winter I know it would be beautiful with the snow and the ski slopes.
Stay at Sol Vista

Stayed here for almost a week for us MTB Nationals. 1 bd/1ba with sofa bed also. Little cramped, but it was just me most of the week. Loved the jacuzzi tub and the washer/dryer. I had been on the road for awhile, so it was nice to have a full size fridge and kitchen. The community grill was great. Very convenient location for the event. Grocery store isn't too far away (just down the hill). Wish there had been cheaper weekday prices, but I didn't do a ton of research on other lodges/condos and their prices, so it may be competitive as far as price goes.
Overall, nice condo with furnishings, felt comfortable, and plenty of amenities.

Everything was excellent from the reservation to the home. The only thing missing was WiFi.

We were visiting for Mountain Bike Natz and had not been to Sol Vista...really enjoyed the condo and the views...would definitely stay there next year...
The condo had everything we needed, was well stocked and nice and clean...and it had a good layout for a family of four.
