Wheat Ridgewonderful time with the grandchildren!

Check in was smooth and effortless. Facilities were perfect. Kids enjoyed the hot tub and skiing the next day. The lady who checked us in was very helpful, particularly when my grandson forgot and left his stuffed "kitty"...she tracked it down and was extremely helpful in getting it back to him. Service like this is what will cause us to return again. She should be commended for her efforts and understanding. I wish I could remember her name, so that I could thank her personally...but this will have to do. Overall, our experience at Kicking Horse Lodge couldn't have been better. Thank you.

The unit is nice, the Kicking Horse Lodges are the nicest of the condo properties located at Sol Vista. A little more attention could be paid to the cleaning, had to rewash some of the kitchen pans before I would use them. Carpet is starting to show wear, this carpet is at least 10 years old.
Also, the spas could work better. -

We enjoyed the kicking horse lodges. They were roomy enough for a family of 4. The kitchen was well stocked with all the items we needed to cook our meals. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms also. Great place to stay. Very nicely furnished. Very easy to ski to the kicking horse lift and then over to Solvista. Were able to ski home from Solvista too for lunch and at the end of the day.

Just a great family get away. Condo's need a DVD player for the TV. Bedroom Matress's could be better quality.

Upon arrival we checked in with no hassel at all. When we got the the apartment we were delighted when we opened the door and found the place exactly like it was described in the photos. Very well equipped with plenty of room, it was the ideal base for our week of skiing at Sol Vista. The views are breathtaking. You can see clear across the valley towards Grand Lake. The fireplace worked like a dream to warm us up after a day on the slopes. WE have two small children so we ate in most nights and the kitchen had everything we needed to whip up a great meal. The washer and tumble dryer also worked great. Only down side is that when the people arrived who were staying above us you could really hear every footstep they made and it was quite noisy. However that was a small point and overall I would highly recommend this accommodation over others offered on the mountain, which we have stayed in.
