We stayed here for three nights in February 2014. The location is good, and is right on the edge of the Granby Ranch slopes so you can ski right down to the lift. You should be aware that the run is a blue run, so if you are a brand new skiier it might be challenging.
The condo had a good kitchen with fridge, stove/oven, and washing machine. The kitchenware was well stocked - we had everything we needed to cook multiple meals.
There is a dining space and a living space, and two bedrooms and a loft with a pullout couch. The downstairs bedroom has a king bed, and the upstairs bedroom has two twin beds. The total space is about 1400 sq ft. There was plenty of room for 2 couples and one child.
The hot tub is a short walk across the parking lot and it was fine.
Overall, we were pleased with this rental. The one comment I would make is that the upstairs bedroom gets very cold; the baseboard heat is just not as effective in that room. We had to triple up on blankets in that room. It would be better if there were down comforters up there, or an improved heating solution such as a space heater.
Great location, but unit lackes some comforts

Our family of 5 stayed at this unit. The kids loved the small hill next to the unit for sledding and the layout was adequate for a family of 5. My only complaint was the beds. The mattresses were literally unsleepable they were so dated and uncomfortable. The lack of sleep detracted from our expereince. I also think that 5-6 is the max number of people that could comfortably stay in this unit.

We had a great first visit to Sol Vista last weekend. The condo exceeded our expectations. The condo was very clean, quiet, comfortable and we were so close to the ski lift! We'll be staying here again.
Kicking Horse Rocks!

My family visits the Solvista Ski area every January for about one week. We enjoy the area and have stayed at many of the local accomodations. We have stayed at Kicking Horse for the last two years since they are new with nice amenities and they have the ski-in ski-out option. We would like to purchase a unit for our future enjoyment.
Thanks - Mark

We loved the lodging. It was clean and felt like new construction. The split level design felt roomy. Having laundry in the unit and a fully stocked kitchen and dishwashers were luxuries, but absolutely necessary for our family of six. The fireplace really warmed up the whole place. Proximity to the lifts and lodge were perfect. Grocery store is just down the road. Housekeeping was responsive to requests for more towels. Jacuzzi was locked twice when we went but a call to the office was answered and it was unlocked one of these times. Would definitely come to Sol Vista and Kicking Horse again.

7-301 was located close to the lift; it was truly "ski-in-ski-out. The
management staff were cordial and the unit was clean. Sol Vista is a good
beginners ski area, but my family has now progressed to wanting a more
challenging area, but we may come back for golfing season.
