Our efficient 1 bedroom unit was a bit tight but comfortable. Ours had a great view away from the ski area to the north. Some Kicking Horse units are ski in / ski out, but many require a long walk to reach the slopes. Granby Ranch is a perfect ski area for families with young children.
Poor to average

Upon on arrival I was expecting a lodge that was closer to the slopes. This particular lodge was not a ski in ski out lodge. When we pulled out the sleeper sofa it filled the entire room with the smell of vomit. When brought to the rental managers attention all they gave us was a different sheet and can of air freshner. The corner rooms all have outside lights that shine into the rooms at night. You can imagine how irritating that may be when trying to sleep. Also to mention the bed was not one bit comfortable. None of the base board heaters worked either. Above the thermostat was a note stating the heat was not to be adjusted to higher than 65 degrees. If an issue was had with this than we were to call the property manager. Do they realize we are in the mountains and it is safe to assume those staying in the condo were outside in freezing temperatures all day? Our side walks were cleared of snow only on request. With the sofa smelling like vomit we insisted to be moved and were allowed to be moved into a different condo- we were given 1 hour to clean out one condo and check into the office to get into the second condo. It was nice they found a different condo to accommodate us with, but disappointing that our children had to sleep on a stinky mattress. We were moved into mountainside condos and they had more room but older. Next time we will try base camp condos.

Accomodations were acceptable

We rented a 1 bedroom condo. The condo was clean and the parking was convenient. The sofa and the bed were not up to my standards. The bed was too hard to get a comfortable nights sleep. The sofa was worn out and you sank down several inches when you sat on it. The hot water tank capacity was limited and we had to stage our showers one in the evening and one in the morning to keep from running out of hot water in the middle of your shower. The kitchen facilities were ok. I was expecting more for what we paid for the accommodations.
No WiFi connectivity in unit

Unit was clean and comfortable for a one bedroom. However rollout sofa was very uncomfortable and dated. Very disappointed by the lack of internet connectivity. While in the unit our remote devices scanned several wifi connections in the vicinity but all where protected. In the area we were staying, internet connectivity was very slow via our normal internet provider. In this day and age for a rental unit not to have wifi is unacceptable. Won't select this unit next time because of the lack of wifi connectivity.

OK but missing a few things...

Booking fee wasn't mentioned at time of booking.
Coffee filters didn't match the coffee pot.
Kitchen was a little sparse- could use more place settings. Had to run the dishwasher frequently.
No hangers in closet.
TV remotes didn't have batteries.
Overall we had a nice stay.
Hot tub was hot.
Relatively short walk to lift.
Nice and quiet.
But, all in all a little pricey. We've stayed in a lot of ski condos in Colorado and the furnishings in this condo were a bit sparse.
