Love it! Scenery is breathtaking! Beds are very uncomfortable!

Its a little out of the way, but well worth it. The scenery is breathtaking, but the beds are extremely uncomfortable. We have stayed at Mountainside condo's many times. The thing we like most is the ski in - ski out capability. This is not true for all condo's located on the premises, but at this condo, you can literally walk out of your room, down the stairs to the parking lot and just feet away put your ski's on and ski down to the lift, without ever getting in your car. This only applies if you are skiing on the mountain, not the Bunny Slope. You must ski up the mountain in order to ski directly back to the condo. The ski's can be left in the snow over night. The hardest part for us would be accessing this condo because you must walk up 2 flights of stairs to the condo, which can be quite draining, especially wearing the ski boots or bringing groceries up to the condo. I would highly recommend renting a condo that is closest to the snow/slope and on the lowest floor of Mountainside (108 & #'s in that range) might be a better choice). Granby Ski Ranch has a relatively low volume of skiers which is quite nice. We unknowingly went during President's Weekend, which was the busiest I've ever seen it. We normally go during Mardi Gras week and it's not as crowded. There is a Kroger's a very short distance from Condo and you can purchase everything imaginable for your stay. There's a McDonalds & Starbucks located in the same parking lot as Kroger's. There are no other fast food or restaurants as close as that. In Granby, we discovered a Restaurant called "Mavericks," which we highly recommend. Inexpensive, large servings and very tasty! This is located a few miles from the condo heading away from Winter Park. The only other places to eat, shop or snowmobile will be in the Winter Park area. Oh..I highly recommend Tubing in Fraser (about 15 min from Granby - heading towards Winter Park). Guided snowmobile tour = fantastic! Ck weather daily b4 going on road

Mountainside 110 was a extremely nice unit, very well kept & clean. The only disappointement was the queen bed in the room with the jucuzzi was uncomfortable. You felt springs no matter how you laid on the bed. All the other beds where fine.
People at the office were very friendly and helpful.

We had an excellent week while staying at this condo. There were plenty of beds and a large living room/dining area where the entire family could spread out and enjoy each others company. We've stayed at a similar room before and it's great for families around 10 people. The ski slope is a very short walk from the room and you really can't beat ski-in/ski-out.
The only thing I would like to see improved would be to add more towels in the bathrooms and more cookware (pots, pans, bake dishes)
Great for family

We were upgraded to this spacious condo by very gracious management after the first unit (112) experienced 3 appliance failures.
The furnishings were comfortable and the decor nice. The only drawback with the children's open loft bedroom...the living room TV is directly below. Perhaps if TV was available in both lower bedrooms or wireless ear phones available this could be solved. (We were trying to watch the Olympics opening events and had young children with 8:30 pm bedtimes)
Management was very responsive to the issues that arose with the first unit, and even sent staff to help us move our belongings to this unit.
The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils for families that wish to cook and eat in. Cell phone reception was spotty within this unit...usually had to go out on the open balcony and lean over the rail to get signal.
Bedrooms, bathrooms and closets were good sizes and nicely decorated. Mattresses were average.
We enjoyed the free lift rides one afternoon at the nearby chairlift. Winter Park is a short drive away with lots of activities for all ages, and Rocky Mountain National Park equally close. Boat rental on Grand Lake was convenient and fun. Lots of places to ride bikes and four-wheelers right by the condo. We enjoyed the less crowded atmosphere of the area as compared to Estes Park.

I would think that not having the grand four pack hurt the mountains this year. With that said it was awesome that the resort helped us in working with each golf course to get a discounted rate. This year was our 4th run at a great golf summer outing and we love staying at Mountain Side! We look forward to year 5.
