Our triplex is located in a residential coastal complex in Bain-Boeuf and 2.5 km from the center of Grand Bay. The complex comprises 36 units distributed in four separate blocks. Some of these units are occupied by permanent residents, most are second homes occupied occasionally. The complex is located in the heart of tourism in northern Mauritius. Nautical centers offering the full range of nautical activities are plentiful in the immediate vicinity. Restaurants, shops, supermarkets, clubs etc. are at our door-step. The complex is located a hundred meters or so from the public beach of Bain-Boeuf, the coastal road to cross. Having crossed th...e road the view is amazing. The swim immediately opposite the beach is not very good. However, a few hundred meters on the left opens a beautiful beach overlooking a beautiful lagoon. The swim there is excellent. The lagoon is perfectly safe. The park of the complex is beautiful and covers an area of ??8.400 square meters. The complex is the most popular one of ??Grand Bay. The infinity pool is very large and very beautiful and has been rebuilt in 2011. It is frequented by residents and owners of the secondary homes only on weekends. It is the mostly frequently empty of bathers during the week. Villa Farniente is one of the best located triplexes of the complex. It is set back from the pool and adjoining only on one side. Completely renovated in 2010 our triplex offers excellent quality accommodation. The maid and the cook who have been in our employment for the past ten years are charming, efficient and discreet. They contribute to the reputation and success of our property. Villa Farniente is ideal is for those who wish to enjoy fully the tourism resources of the north of Mauritius and who require well situated quality housing at a very good price / quality ratio. Car hire is not essential in the region. However, should you want to rent one we will put you in touch with a rental company that offers excellent rates to our tenants. Close to the villa you will find numerous diving centers. Water sports facilities such as windsurfing, water-skiing, para-sailing, under-water walking are easily available in Grand Bay. From Sunset Boulevard in Grand Bay big game fishing boats await you for catching an unforgettable marlin. Also do not miss a pleasurable day cruise to Flat Island and Ilot Gabriel in a catamaran. The Château de Labourdonnais, a historic colonial home, will take you back one and a half centuries into the history of Mauritius. The Orchards of Labourdonnais which form part of the property of the Château invite you to a guided tour of their marvellous tropical fruit plantation. Not to be missed ! Visit the world-renowned Pamplemousses garden and the adjoining Sugar Museum 20 minutes away by car. Tennis is available at Casuarina hotel in Trou aux Biches. Otherwise 7 courts are accessible day/evenings at Tennis Nord in Labourdonnais, less than 30 minutes away. Port Louis, the capital city of Mauritius with its Caudan water-front shopping mall and its typical market is easily reachable by bus and 30 minutes away by car.
