LondonAmazing Villa Maurice...Miss this lovely villa

We had the pleasure of staying at Villa Maurice this year for 10 days, we were a party of 7 and we had the most amazing time.
The villa is out of this world it simply has everything you could possibly wish for, It was very luxurious, very clean, very comfortable,and very well maintained,the garden & pool area was amazing and very magical both day and night.
The pictures really do not give it the justice it deserves, the rooms are all beautifully decorated, beds so comfortable and it even has secret gardens off both the ground floor bedrooms which was a wonderful surprise in the morning as we did not notice this in the night when we arrived.
We all were very impressed with the standard of accomodation and it is also very secure and private with 24 hour security.
Vivienne is the house maid who pops in a few times a week, she was simply delightful, and made our stay so special, she went out of her way to look after us all and we all really grew very fond of her, one evening she cooked us the most amazing creole chicken & potato curry dish and it really was the best meal I had in Mauritius ( and the food is good there) !!!
From arriving to VM to leaving VM we possibly couldnt have found a better place to stay.
Margarette who is the villa owner is so helpful and we will 100% be returning to her amazing home once more for a longer stay.
My only complaint is we had to leave the villa...I really could have stayed forever. Thank you to all that made it possible for us to stay, my advice to anyone thinking of booking...Book you will not be Dissapointed!! -

We enjoyed our stay at the villa, which is very well designed. Location is perfect to go to Grand Bay or to the city or to the north of the island.
Enjoyed the tranquility and relaxed atmosphere. very secluded which we wanted but the ants a bit too much , but we understand it's the tropical island and not much we can do coz of of all the greens -

Is a great house, comfortable, fully equipped and fully serviced. Few hours after our arrival, even after a long fly, we felt " at home"
We really enjoy our time at the Villa that has made lovely also the short raining periods.
A special thank's goes to Vivianne, she is a very rare and lovely person, very professional in her job, always available. She treated us all as a "mum" and one evening she cooked for us a typical Mauritians dinner that we enjoy a lot.
Vivienne is part of the Villa and she brings sunshine and joy in it, everyday.
There is nothing we suggest to make the Villa better than as it is.
We will certainly go back in Mauritius as soon as possible and hopefully Villa Maurice will be available at that time. -

We had the pleasure to stay in such a nice villa during our stay in Mauritius.
The villa was much nicer than what we expected from the pictures. I could not stop making photos of each corner during my stay. If I ever have a villa at home, I want to have one like this!
The decoration was outstanding. The swimming-pool was great. We had lovely and unforgettable dinners outside.
The house is incredibly big and perfectly cleaned. The beds are all king size. The main bathroom has a huge bathtub of a capacitiy for 4 people or more.
The kitchen had everthing you could imagine. In addition, the location was great, near all the best beaches in the noth of Mauritius. And just 3 minutes drive from a big supermarket.
The Oasis Villas are loated in a quiet area, with 24 hours surveillance and totally privacy. We could not ask for more!
I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable.

My husband and I have just returned from a magical holiday to Mauritius and Villa Maurice certainly made our holiday a dream destination. We were on our long awaited honeymoon and the wait was certainly worth it! The photos of Villa Maurice, although of the highest quality, do not do the villa justice - until you are there you can not appreciate the quality, privacy and luxury. We absolutely loved the privacy of the pool area and the gardens. The villa is very conveniently located to Grand Baie and Pereybere where you will find many choices for dining out, shopping and truly stunning beaches (be sure to try Domaine restaurant in The Vale, a little hard to find but well worth the effort!). Lonely Planet absolutely has it right - this villa is among the most luxurious on the North Coast. Thank you andrea for being prompt in greeting us at the villa and helping us to arrange our rental car and to Viviene, the wonderful housekeeper, for looking after us and ensuring our stay was comfortable . We appreciate all that Villa Maurice had to offer us and look forward to our return journey to the villa and the paradise island.

Wir waren über Weihnachten mit 3 Kindern (16, 10, 8) und Großmutter in dieser wunderschönen Villa auf Mauritius. Die Lage ist sehr gut, die Villa liegt zwischen Grand Baie und Pereybere, ein sehr großer Supermarkt ist mit dem auto in 5 Min. erreichbar, ebenso verschiedene Strände. Wir haben die Tage in der Villa sehr genossen und unsere Kinder wollten häufig lieber am Pool bleiben, als an den Strand. Die Villa läßt keine Wünsche offen, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit riesigem Kühlschrank, Eis-Maker, Geschirrspülmaschine etc. Es gibt einen Hauswirtschaftsraum mit Waschmaschine und Vivianne sorgt 3 Mal pro Woche für Ordnung und Sauberkeit. Sehr angenehm war auch das wlan, da wir einige Restaurants und ausflugsziele recherchieren und buchen konnten. Auch die Empfehlungen der Eigentümer der Villa waren sehr gut. Besonders empfehlen können wir das kleine Restaurant direkt am Strand von Pereybere, mit sehr netter deutschsprachiger Bedienung und sehr günstig!
Wir können die Villa nur wärmstens empfehlen und die Insel ist wirklich schön. Es gibt eine ganze Reihe hervorragender Restaurants und besonders an Weihnachten und Silvester war eine tolle Stimmung. Die Menschen sind freundlich und hilfsbereit und wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohlgefühlt. -

The villa’s website images and information were really impressive and gave an impression of an owner that had the objective of creating a home from home atmosphere. Our fantastic holiday, after 12 days at the villa, confirm our initial impressions. The photographs are true to the reality – the villa is lovely, spacious, very well equipped and ideally located between Grand Baie and Pereybere to tour much of the island and enjoy some lovely beaches and local culture. Our favorite beach – within 10 mins - was Mont Choisy.
The villa is located within a 5 minute drive of all the facilities you need and has its own carport so arriving in a tropical shower was never a problem. The design of the villa and its gardens is excellent. All rooms are spacious and light and bedrooms overlook the gardens and pool area. The TV area is relatively small but it was plenty for us two. We enjoyed watching a number of DVD’s when the odd tropical shower prevented us from staying outside by the pool or on the verandah.
The kitchen is well-equipped and the ice/filtered water machine is a godsend and we used it frequently to help us chill out in the constant 30?C temperatures and humidity. Tea-lights, mosquito spirals, etc. are provided for you, so you can fully enjoy the open verandah area and kiosk.
3 times a week a lovely Mauritian lady cleans the villa, deals with light domestic chores eg. washing, ironing, emptying the dish washer, etc. and can prepare/cook a Mauritian meal for you. She is very thorough, helpful and always cheerful. She brings flowers to decorate the verandah and is always informative about local information.
The pool and decking area provides equal shade and sun throughout the day. The pool is of reasonable size to have a refreshing swim and is sterilised through salt electrolysis rather than using chlorine. The walled garden and villa are not overlooked so you are guaranteed total privacy. Security is very good within the villa and within the complex.

We are an Austrian (Europe) family of four; our two daughtes are 21 and 22 years old. We have already travelled a lot around the world, and this Christmas we decided to spend three weeks in Mauritius, where we had not been before.This island is really beautiful, spectacular beaches and landscapes, everything is green, the people are very friendly,the multicultural population and life style heartwarming. All the provided services from booking the villa to renting a car or organizing a deep sea fishing trip were perfect.
The infrastructure at Grand Baie is great too: the near supermarket,all kinds of shops and boutiques, restaurants and the fruitstands make your life there very comfortable.
The Villa Maurice 19 met all our expectations, this spacious four bedroom villa is great for 6 people (for 8 there are not enough chairs at the dining table in the kiosk outside,where we usually had our dinners).The pool was fantastic,the kitchen fully equipped and state-of-the art as were the bathrooms. The typical furniture and architecture made us feel like being in another very relaxed but exclusive world.
The houskeeper Viviane is also very efficient and nice ad the whole sophisticated atmosphere of this villa made us feel at home at once.
We loved this holiday retreat and will sure be back in the not too far future.

The villa exceeded our high expectations and was even larger than the photographs and description suggests.
The kitchen is very well equipped including a fridge that dispenses ice cubes, microwave, dishwaher, oven etc.
The rest of the villa is equally luxurious, with a large sunken bath, flatscreen TV, dvd player and huge comfortable beds.
The pool is great and looks wonderful at night all lit up with the rest of the garden.
Vivienne the housekeeper, comes 3 times a week and is simply excellent. She keeps the place very clean and tidy and is very friendly.
The villa location is perfect, only a few minutes from the SuperU supermarket, Grand Bay (lots of place to eat, shop and the bay) and Pereybere (lovely beach).
We had a wonderful week in Mauritius and this villa certainly played a major part in our enjoyment. I would highly recommend it to anyone. -

This villa has a stunning specification, superbly kitted out with everything you would need to enjoy your stay in Mauritius.
It also boasts a great location, just off the main road to Port Louis. It's between Grand Bay and Perebeyre too, just a few minutes (3 max) to either the lovely beach in Perebeyre or 4 minutes to the shopping and foodspots in Grand Bay. It's also less than 5 minutes from the excellent SuperU supermarket in Grand Bay.
It's a real home from home...lots of home comforts and gadgets. The villa opens up around a great pool area with cabana and garden...loungers, BBQ, cocktails.
Inside the developer has brought that light inside, with lots of openings and windows.
Kitchen is so well equipped. The fridge is great, dispensing ice cubes, all mod cons.
Flat screen TV and cable channels in the lounge (mainly French though). But the owner has provided lots of DVDs for the evenings and great novels too!
The showers are powered or pressurised, work great. There's a fabulous sunken bath too. Beds are huge and comfortable.
Vivienne comes on every other day and helps with keeping the place ship shape. Nothing is too much trouble, a real gem.
Gardeners keep the garden tidy and seem to clean the pool every day.
In the evening the ambience is stunning at the villa. In the mornings the shutters keep the light out if you want a lie in.
We loved the villa, exceeded our expectations in so many ways. So well situated. You won't be disappointed!
