6BR Hidden Cove is one of the best values on Grand Cayman. Tucked away in a quiet corner of the exclusive Cayman Kai area, Hidden Cove offers a very large family or two smaller families a home away from home. With it's boat dock directly on a secluded cove right on Little Sound, this home with pool & sun deck offers privacy and beautiful views as well as easterly breezes. Great snorkeling, ocean swimming and water sports are a short walk to either Rum Point or Kaibo Yacht Club. Directly across the street, a sandy access provides kayaking in the lagoon and North Sound or to the east kayak across Little Sound to meander through mangrove pas...sages. This private home, with plenty of windows overlooking the deck and pool area from the spacious family room and dining area, is complimented by uninterrupted views of Little Sound and the Island's environmentally protected area.

Four bedrooms on the first floor include: one King Master Suite and one Queen Master Suite, one Twin bedroom (can convert to a King) and another Queen bedroom share a full bath. Another full bath is located just off the open-design kitchen and full laundry area. A quiet sitting room and extra dining area complete the first floor. The second floor with views overlooking the Sound includes: one Twin Bedroom (can convert to a King) and one Queen Bedroom that share a large bathroom.

  This is a truly wonderful vacation rental...beautifully decorated and well situated in the cove allowing both privacy and easy access to the ocean. We had a large group and I can easily say we all agreed it was a magical spot worth returning to...especially given the bioluminescene right in our cove which we enjoyed every night! Our other concern was access to the grocery store which turned out to be a shorter drive than expected (maybe 20 mins).
  
  All was well until we checked out and the owners slammed us with erroneous charges for missing items! We were never given an innitial inventory, yet we received a massive bill and automatic charge from the owner. They even charged us for items they admitted were missing before we arrived. It was a ridiculous ending to a wonderful trip and it left us all with a bitter taste in our mouths.
  
  If you're a strong negotiator, perhaps this rental is worth your trouble.I would certainly recommend getting an inventory pre-visit and writing into the contract that you would only be held accountable for those items listed.

  Thanks for the review confirming that it is a wonderful home and great location within Cayman Kai. The guests had no issue with the house or management on island. They enjoyed themselves fully.
  
  This guest also rented a 6BR home across the street for a VERY large party (over 20) including children. As it turns out; many items went missing from this home over to the other house and vice-versa. The guests carried both of the Hidden Cove kayaks over to the other home for the week; and when there were broken paddles, no one wanted to claim responsibility. Same with many towels missing as well as barware. They wore towels over to the other houses and took glasses, etc. After our company having to coordinate a search of BOTH homes; we found broken/missing items at each home. We not only had to coordinate with two managers, but the ARRIVING guests were put out by not having all towels and kayak paddles, etc. We had to send people into town to replace those items. We charged the guest for those items; and the OTHER owner ( across the street) ALSO charged the guests for the items broken/missing at the other home. We all have to be responsible for our children and take ownership for the failure to supervise our guests. That is what adults do.
  
  There were no erroneous bills; just guests who had to pay for the damages caused. This is the FIRST TIME that Hidden Cove has ever had to request a guest to pay for missing/broken items.
