The Cottage is a cosy detached hideaway, nestling in a wooded setting in the grounds of the owners’ home, on the edge of the village of Culverstone Green in Kent. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

The photographs do not do "The Cottage" justice, it is lovely. A beautiful setting with a large secluded garden and a perfect location for visiting the nearby Medway towns, Kent coast and London. We made this a base for visiting family and friends in Gravesend, Maidstone, Deal and Canterbury. There are many good restaurants and shops close by.
The cottage is warm and cosy and equipped to a high standard, we particularly liked the wood burning stove and Wi-Fi access. We received a warm welcome from our hosts who have a good knowledge of the local area. A very enjoyable stay. -

We found the cottage and owners excellent, we have stayed in many cottages and found The Cottage to be one of the best. Used as a base to travel into London daily for the west end and Museums. We will be returning one day.

We were made very welcome. Our hosts gave us and the children the run of their large garden.The situation was ideal for our visits to the Olympics. Only a few minutes to Ebbsfleet Station provides a rapid route into Central London. The cottage was comfortable and clean, and readily adaptable to our particular needs with the children. It was very quiet and peaceful, and the close proximity of the house was not a problem. We would highly recommend it to others.

A lovely cottage set in the owners grounds. So peaceful and tranquil, the only sound was birdsong. Cottage was very well equipped, nothing lacking. Spotlessly clean. Owners were very welcoming and a mine of information on the surrounding area. Huge garden which, if you were taking a dog with you, would be perfect for it to run round in. Would have no doubts about returning at all. Has Wifi although Sykes seem unaware of this.

The photo doesn't do this place justice. Warm, cosy, very well appointed and such comfortable beds. The owners gave us a very warm welcome and then left us alone - but any time we needed anything one of them was there and sorted us out immediately and very cheerfully. Thoroughly recommended.
