Our Lake Arts Studio is a destination art studio / meeting room where individuals can gather to learn various art techniques, as well as work on or join in with others to discuss a related topic of interest. The Studio was specifically designed to cater towards destination art workshops, specialty interest group retreats, small wedding receptions, and off-site business planning meetings. The Studio is open to reservations any time of year and is situated within a picturesque lake view setting at the Lake of the Ozarks.
The Lake Arts Studio was built in the Spring of 2008 and is positioned high on a bluff that overlooks the Main Channel... of the Osage Arm of the Lake (7 mile marker of the Lake). Upon entering the Studio, everyone will immediately take in the picturesque and expansive water views of the Lake through an entire wall of oversized picture windows and transoms. The 625 square foot Studio has an expansive 16-foot vaulted ceiling and provides ample space to support a variety of functions:

The interior of the Studio is of an up-scaled contemporary design, with extensive cherry wood cabinetry, rows of dimmer activated overhead can lighting, several ceiling fans, a very suitable efficiency kitchen and a state-of-the-art media center. The efficiency kitchen comes with a full size refrigerator, ice-maker, garbage disposal and microwave. The media center includes several up-to-date audio-visual components including a 42-inch high definition flat screen TV, DVD player, stereo, surround sound, component hook-ups, and Wi-Fi Internet Access. The Studio is carpeted and tiled throughout and includes one handicap accessible restroom that is directly off the kitchen area.
The Studio also boasts an expansive 550 square foot outdoor deck that also overlooks the Lake. The deck can ideally serve as an outdoor gathering area, a tree-shaded break-out room, or additional outside workshop space. With prior authorization, art workshop participants can gain access the lower level 460 square foot garage that also overlooks the Lake. There is ample open parking for up to 12 cars directly adjacent to the Studio.
This ideal art studio and retreat keeps expanding to meet the needs of our guests. Future plans include adding a deck side garden for added viewing pleasure and usage in the coming months. CONCIERGE SERVICES
Several area businesses have made themselves available to work closely with Lake Arts Studio and the Business or Instructor to cater in continental breakfasts and lunches for all workshop participants and business retreats as well as supply a full line of wedding referrals for tent and rental equipment, catering, photographers, etc. Lake Arts Studio will also work closely with everyone involved to coordinate any additional lake related activities during the duration of your stay (boating, golfing, dining, entertainment both on and off the water.)
