Located on a hilltop with ocean views. The property extends down to the ocean and the dock where the kayaks are kept. A 10 minute kayak ride takes you across the calm turquoise waters to the deserted island of Moriah Harbour Cay. This beautiful island has miles of soft sand beaches, lagoons to explore, populated with rays, turtles, Ospreys and bonefish.

Hilltop location with ocean views and extending down to the sea where the dock and kayaks are kept. Guests have the use of a large solar heated swimming pool. The cottages are in landscaped gardens and with ocean views. Exuma's best beaches are a short car ride away, or a 10 minute paddle by kayak. Quiet secluded location, ideal for bonefishing, beach exploring and relaxation. Your rental car can be parked beside the cottage.

Exceptional hospitality. Valerie is one of a kind. The property is off the beaten path, quiet and beautiful. Valerie is so gracious. She knows all the great spots on the island and will call ahead to anyone if you need her to. Kitchen is fully equipped, laundry on site, pool is wonderful. We can't wait to go back.

We stayed at the cottage for 10 nights and it was exactly what we were looking for: quiet, comfortable beds, and many great night's of sleep. Not to mention the kayaking in front of the house was loads of fun too. The host, Valerie, is very accommodating and a fountain of information. This is the opposite of an all-inclusive catered vacation place. Here it is do-it yourself on your own schedule. We will go back again.

Abbiamo scelto questi cottages per la nostra vacanza da Exuma (2 settimane ad agosto 2012), e devo dire che ci siamo trovati benissimo.
Il cottage è grande, composto da soggiorno/cucina, due stanze da letto e bagno.
C'è un piccolo patio fuori ed il posto auto.
La proprietaria dei cottages, Valerie, è una persona eccezionale: dolce, gentile, premurosa. Non ci ha fatto mancare niente, dai semplici consigli su dove spendere a quelli per le spiagge.
Un posto che consiglio a chiunque voglia vivere Exuma nella sua naturale bellezza e semplicità. -

The location of this cottage was perfect for us. We travelled the entire length of Great Exuma and Little Exuma and thought that this location offered everything we could ask for. The cottage was cozy and spotless and offered excellent views of Moriah harbor from the hill it was built on. The grounds were nicely landscaped with a nice array of native flowers and plants surrounding the pool. After a day of sand and sun on the beach the pool made for a great place for us to take a nice dip and have a couple of banana rum drinks. The finest beaches in the world are a short kayak trip or car ride away. Tropic of Cancer beach is the best beach on the entire island and we were the only ones there the entire day. We paddled over to Mariah Harbor Cay twice and were the only two people on that entire island both times. We might as well have owned the island. I felt the best beaches and water were in close proximity to Valerie's cottage but as with anywhere on Great Exuma, a car is a must to get around. Valerie, the owner/manager was a wealth of knowledge for us first timers and very helpful. We felt very safe at the Exuma Vacation Cottage. We will be back soon.
