We booked the farm house for our team retreat. There are six of us (3 men, 3 women) and we were looking for a place w/n 1 hour of Indy were we could get away without driving too far. The house was perfect. It provided plenty of privacy for sleeping and bathrooms. The layout was ideal. Furnishings/fixtures/architectural details so warm and inspiring. Quality throughout. Big kitchen for meal prep and a huge table for our work. Comfortable sofa for relaxing. Every seat in the place provides a fresh view inside and out. We were warmly greeted, given access and the owner was available but gave us all the space we needed. Whether for family or work, this place is incredible.

First of all the checkin was a breeze. We walked in the front door and it felt warm just like Home. The house was very clean and inviting. We had six adults and we had plenty of room. The location fit us perfectly. The amenities are top notch. We enjoyed our selves so much that we are planning a return vacation in the winter months, with more family members and friends to enjoy the Beautiful scenery during the Holiday Season. I would also like to say that the gentelman that runs the farm, Mark is a Great addition to your farm when he had some time to spare he would teach us a little bit about the farm. Thanks again to Chris, Amy,Mark, Kipper and Kobe. Hope to see Ya'll soon!

My family and I had an amazing time here at Tyner Pond Farm! The owners were kind, knowledgable, and proud of what they have done and will do! The home is just a dream and their land is perfect for pictures! This is a short drive from our home and we would love to visit during the winter months to enjoy that gorgeous fireplace. We absolutely loved our visit!

Thank you for the kind words Donna! We would love to have you back this winter. It's actually my favorite time out here. Very quiet and the Vermont Casting stove keeps the whole house warm and cozy.
...and don't forget fall :-) I had a family from Florida ask about a Family Thanksgiving here. They were not able to book, but I thought it was a great idea.

Tyner Pond Farm was a great place for my family to stay. We were there with my parents, sister and her husband, and our children. The house comfortably accommodated all 8 of us. We enjoyed being away from the city but yet close enough to enjoy the attractions. The solitude and space was relaxing after a day of sightseeing and being in the car with 8 people.

We visited Tyner Pond Farm in June 2012. As two young couples, each with two kids (one five year old and three one year olds) finding an appropriate quick getaway can be difficult. This proved to be the perfect choice for us. The location is wonderful...you are completely "out in the country" with virtually non-existent traffic and noise. However, Greenfield is close by with plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Indianapolis is also only a short, very nice drive, with all of the hub-bub of a large city.
The house itself is wonderful. The entire home is gorgeous with every ammenity you could want. We especially enjoyed the outside living of the home with comfortable outdoor furniture, a lovely porch, fire pit, and awesome grill. The kids loved being about to run around in the flat yard (we are from the very hilly Cincinnati area!). We roasted marshmallows, took advantage of the Keurig machine, slept soundly, and really had a great time.
The kids loved seeing the animals on the farm as well. Chris was super nice and accomodating and great to have as our host. We will be back to Tyner Pond Farm (in fact I am sending in a request after writing this review). Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed in this beautiful home that sits in an ideal location on a small farm. It was very easy access to Highway 70 just East of Indianapolis. The home itself is gorgeous and new. Very well constructed with a welcoming floor plan. We only stayed one night on our cross country trip but we awoke refreshed and wishing we could stay longer. I had a great run in the morning through the countryside and thought of the movie, Field of Dreams as I ran back to the house. Kitchen is well outfitted and fully equipped; grill and patio readily accessible. The bathrooms were well sized and showers and facilities were all brand new and functioned well. A relaxing get-away or refreshing stop-over!

GreenfieldSuch a Lovely Place

My four young children and I visited the Tyner Pond Farm recently and took a tour of the farm. After visiting and seeing the farmhouse, I'm recommending a stay to my sister when she visits with her family (husband and five children) next time they are in town from Chicago. I know she will love being able to walk out the back door of the farmhouse and visit the farm store to purchase locally grown farm fresh food during her visit.
The farmhouse is a beautifully remodeled 4 bedroom country home with 3 full bathrooms and all the modern amenities you would wish for on a weekend getaway. The house comfortably sleeps nine. The dining area has a huge dining room table where your family can gather and play board games or do puzzles after in addition to enjoying your meals. Your family can also access wireless internet and enjoy watching HD tv with Direct TV included.
The house sits on 100 acres of farmland complete with a lake and roaming 100% grass fed cattle, free range chickens, and pasture raised pigs.
All the barns on the property are also newly remodeled and painted a bright red in color, providing a beautiful scenic view from the farmhouse.
My 4 year old son found out the farmhouse is equipped with a Keurig coffee maker and thinks he needs to go back to the farm and visit again to have some coffee with Farmer Chris. He also thinks Farmer Chris needs his help to take care of the chickens and find those eggs that are hidden in the chicken coops! My 5 year old daughter loved seeing the pigs!
The kids and I stopped in at the farm store and purchased a broiler chicken and we purchased a dozen eggs the kids helped Farmer Chris find in the chicken coop, so they got to enjoy two of their favorite foods that weekend! I was told by the kids after our visit we need to go back and get some bacon! We will be back soon!

Tyner Pond Farm proved to be the perfect setting for our corporate offsite. Our team really enjoyed getting away from the city and surrounding ourselves with a peaceful atmosphere that nurtured our creativity.
The farmhouse was spacious and clean with a beautiful kitchen. Had it been fall or winter, we certainly would have spent time around the wood stove. Taking breaks to walk through the farm gave us the space needed to breathe and think clearly.

We were on our way to Pennsylvania and stopped in to visit Tyner Pond Farm. My daughter is studying environmental science and policy in college and was very interested in the work they are doing here. As part of a tour of the farm, they also gave us a tour of the new farmhouse - wow! We didn't have time to stay, but it looks like a really cool place and we definitely have it in our list for a family getaway. quaint and very modern. huge kitchen.
