This semi detached farmhouse is located in the Lake District village of Greenodd and sleeps nine people in four bedrooms. Low Scathwaite is a semi detached farmhouse dating from 1790, in the hamlet of Arrad Foot just two miles from Greenodd on the edge of the Lake District National Park. With four bedrooms (two doubles - one with an ensuite, and two twins - one with a pull out bed) and a family bathroom, it can sleep up to nine people. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

A beautiful cottage, very well equipped for a larger group or a family, although plenty of room so as not to feel on top of one another, idyllic spot but not too remote as to be miles wawy from lots of the best that the lakes has to offer, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

What an amazing property! We have literally just returned from a weekend break at this property and did not want to leave! The property was everything and more than we wished for, in a tranquil location! The property is decorated to an extremely high standard, with enough space for all the family! The grandparents particularly enjoyed their penthouse suite!!! The location is ideal; nice and peaceful yet not too far from amenties! The welcome pack was most appreciated too! We will definitely be returning when we get the chance!

A group of 8 of us (four couples) stayed here for my birthday in November, and I personally fell in love at first sight.
A lovely cottage, spacious enough for us not to be under each others feet, but smallm enough to still feel cosy. When 6 left on the Sunday night, it left my partner and I to have the house to ourselves and we struggled to leave!
The oweners have put a lot of thought into the cottage decor and it really was a very pleasant stay. The welcome pack was much appreciatesd! Would definately return, possibly with children next time
