My extended family and I recently stayed at the Cliffside Resorts. The staff was extremely nice and informative. The place was clean and very comfortable (felt like home). The view is outstanding! The beach was a little rocky but that is the North Shore. It truly was a relaxing vacation.

This is my 3rd summer coming here with my family. It has become our new favorite place to go. The condos are very new and very clean even for the standards of a nit-picker like me. My kids love the pool which is very clean and always has a lifeguard and the beach is just a few steps away. The sunset every evening is absolutely breathtaking and we love waking up every morning to a beautiful ocean view. The staff is very friendly and very accomodating. I have recommended Cliffside to many friends who also loved it. This place is such a breath of fresh air for Greenport.

Beautiful, clean, spacious condos with breathtaking views of beach and summer sunsets. Staff is very courteous & respectful. You get prompt attention to your needs and the staff is always happy to be of help. Wi-Fi included. Located just a few minutes from town. Big inground pool with lifeguard, which is important if traveling with children. Kid friendly environment. Private, clean beach just a few steps from the condos. Picturesque landscaping with ample room to run around with or play ball with your children, or to just sit back in the adirondack chairs and enjoy the view of the beach! Looking forward to my next trip at Cliffside in a few weeks!

Although the weather could have been better, we had a very enjoyable stay at the resort. The staff was both professional and very helpful. We stayed in a watersedge unit, which was very well maintained and the view was beutiful even on a cloudy day. We stayed mid week in June and will certainly return again.

During my recent visit to Greenport NY in april 2012, I stayed at the Cliffside Resorts for 2 weeks. I work from home, even on "vacation" so the wifi was essential and not all that common in Greenport. Cell service is also decent which I don't find to be the case everywhere in Greenport. Also, they have pet-friendly units that allow for multiple dogs without an additional pet fee which is great because I travel with my 3 small dogs. The units are clean, spacious (2 bedroom, 2 bath) with kitchenettes that have refrigerator, wine refrigerator, dish washer, stove and microwave. They have 2 plasma tvs (in the living room and master bedroom). Each building (5 buildings in all) have laundry rooms with washers and dryers. The units (mine was bldg C, unit 201) had private balconies with ocean views. The grounds are great with plenty of green and the resort has a beautiful private beach. Since it was off season I brought my dogs down to the beach every morning and they had a blast! There is also a clubhouse, plenty of seating on the grounds, BBQ stations and a heated pool. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. Visited through Easter and entertained family and friends. Even though all necessities were provided (dish and glassware, utensils, pots and pans) linens, towels and such, I needed some random things and they provided them. The resort is a short drive to the quaint town of Greenport, the local vineyards and the ferry to shelter island. Public transportation such as the jitney and the Lirr are also very close. I had an amazing time and was sad to leave but plan to stay at Cliffside when I return to Greenport this summer!

We usually stay at a B&B; in Greenport but we had another couple coming with us so we tried the Cliffside Resort. The view was amazing...Sunset with a soft sound of crickets in the backround...paradise. The rooms were nice sized and the balcony was perfect. The price was right also...about $200 a couple for the night. We booked through a gentleman named Rick. He was very helpful. ***Need to add this in...Great restaurant just a few minutes away...A Lure...we loved it (try the swordfish!). Also Scrimshaws in Greenport is delish

Very satisfied with the condo, although they did appear larger in the web site photos. I was disappointed that there was no blender in the kitchen. The rug could use a good cleaning and the beds were not very comfortable but the view was magnificent. The
staff were very welcoming and helpful when asked for suggestions. -

I have been going to Greenport every year for the past 40 years and have stayed at all different locations. I could honestly say, this is by far the nicest place in Greenport to stay. The rooms are well kept and spacious, the views beyond breathtaking, and the staff superb. My brother and I have been coming back to Cliffside for the past three years with our families and would not go anywhere else! A bit pricey, but be sure to look for specials...
For people with disabilities, it's a bit tough. My dad has Parkinsons, we request the lower level where there are no stairs, but it is impossible to get to the private beach where there are too many stairs. -

We had a really amazing stay. Our view was beautiful. The back yard and beach were private and secluded. The sunsets in the anirondack chairs was a highlight of our stay. Eileen at the desk was so nice and helpful. Can't wait to go back.

The only thing that I definately think should be upgraded is the locking system on the front doors. The condo's seem to be a family orientated place, with this being said front doors were to easy to open by kids. Deadbolt on the inside or lach locks should be installed. Overall the condos, grounds, pool, beach access, and location to greenport was Great.

We celebrated our 10th anniversary out on the east end and stayed at the Cliffside Resort. It was the perfect place to relax and was within easy traveling distance to all the wineries, antique stores, and farm stands that we love. Definitely try dinner at the Sound View,which is only a mile to the west or Claudios in the heart of Greenport. We would definitely stay here again.

We could not have been more pleased with Cliffside. As you can see I have rated everything with FIVE STARS. The management were charming and very helpful. We rented the activity room for a small family party which was a huge success and anyone involved in organising/cleaning/providing extra glasses/ice etc could not have been more helpful. I would, however, make two comments about the furnishings. I think there should be a straight back chair in each bedroom as it is helpful to have something other than the bed to sit on and somewhere to hang the odd shirt, trousers if you do not want to put them in the closet ..... which brings me to the hangers! How could a quality place like Cliffside have such DREADFUL and unusable hangers? It is evidently a security issue but I hardly think the type of guest to use Cliffside would steal hangers. Buy some good quality plastic ones which the visitors can actually use without all their clothes falling on the floor and I am sure they will not walk! We asked for a bedside lamp in Bedroom 2 the first day we arrived and it appeared instantly which we all appreciated. We will certainly be coming back when next visit Eastern Long Island. I will be in touch with Cliffside but I arrived back to server troubles and had no computer for over a week. Congratulations and thank you for making our stay so memorable.

Stayed at the Cliffside for a "girls' weekend with three friends. Plenty of room for all. Enjoyed the spectacular view in a waterfront condo, even though it was too cold to use the outside balcony. Condo was clean and well equipped. Management was friendly and accomodating through reservations, check in, .... Only complaints (minor and not really affecting our great time) -- main bathroom a little tight, and the living room furniture, though it looks very nice and very comfortable, is a bit hard, so just don't think you're going to sink right in -- you won't. Location was great - close to the wineries, and about a mile from Greenport's main drag.
