If you're planning a trip to Crystal Mountan Ski Area, Crystal Rainier Retreat vacation home is in a perfect place to stop off for your rest, relaxation and adventure. The cabin is close to Seattle 1.5 hours and a 10 minute drive to Mt. Rainier National park. The newly constructed Mt. Rainier gondola ride is open until October 1st.
We designed the house to be fun for kids and luxurious for adults. The house is only 10 miles from the White River entrance of Mt. Rainier. Distances in driving time, We're located 90 minutes from seattle 75 minutes from seatac airport 50 minutes from tacoma. A fabulous cabin near Crystal Mountain. Loved all the space. Lots of room for our family of four. One bathroom was still under construction so no tub for our little one. Otherwise the place was great! We especially enjoyed the in floor heating. The visiting elk in the yard was an extra treat.

A great place for families, wonderful accommodations, great location with lots going on.
Would offer a bit more seating around main tv in front room rather that balcony seating...just easier access to kitchenand cooler during summer. The owners were lovely- really thoughtful!
Everything was clean and worked!!! I would like to come back with hubby only and try romance out here!
Will recommend to friends! -

If you are going to Mount Rainier you are headed that way to see it. You really won't spend much time in the cabin. What you need is a comfortable and convenient location to use to launch your exploration of the mountain from.
This cabin was perfect for that. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Close to Crystal Mountain if you want to Ski and just north of Mount Rainier.
The owners were very helpful and pleasant to work with. They helped me plan the vacation.

Nathan and Lizz had their house ready and very neat and clean when we arrived. They had comp. wine and chocolate waiting on the dinning room table for us. There was a greeting to us on a small white board by the front door with their contact number in case we needed anything. Their rental home is very spacious and comfortable. This home is new and yet with some well placed pieces of antique furniture they have added to the charter of this house. (As if it needed it.) See this house is not in any way plain or a square box. There is plenty of angles to make you just want to sit back and look at the way it was constructed. (Very Cool and smart) Just look at the Pictures they have provide on the web. They are accurate and yet dose not do the place justice. This home is good for a group,family or a couple get away.
We are looking forward to renting this home again soon. Oh yeah! I almost forgot. (the shower in the down stairs bath room is like getting into a space ship) Taking a shower in that shower is bran new experience. We loved it.

My family (8 adults) spent mother's day weekend at the cabin. We had a wonderful time. The key had broke in the door, but a neighbor and the owner promptly took care of it and we got in! The cabin is beautiful, large enough for all of us, and was very clean. Near Crystal and Mt. Rainier Park. I would definitely stay here again.

What a great trip. Fresh powder skiing at Cyrstal Mountain over Presidents Day Weekend. The house accommodated three couples easily. Lots of room and amenities...beautiful house just minutes from Crystal Mountain.

This home was more than what we had hoped for in a "retreat" from our busy holiday schedule. What a lovely environment and comfortable surroundings. The kitchen was perfect for preparing meals and picnics throughout our stay and the beds were comfortable and cozy. We would most enthusiastically plan to stay here again! So happy to have discovered it.

The house was perfect for our family of 4 adults. My oldest son took the second bed and my younger son enjoyed the loft above the living room. The house was clean & comfortable. The kitchen was great if you would want to have a home cook meal. It would be perfect if we had some window covers for privacy. Beside that, we really enjoyed the house and the area (Mt Rainier). Thanks for sharing your house with us.

We had a wonderful time staying for three nights at this lovely home. Very spacious and comfortable for our family of six. This house has all the basic amenities and more! Kids enjoyed the complimentary Netflix and Wii. Not to mention the jacuzzi which I believe is a great hit with anyone who has rented this place! The location for the home was perfect for all our activities, since it's conveniently situated near the Mt.Rainier Natl. Park in a lovely wooded area with a river running a short walking distance behind the house. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and we highly recommend this vacation home!

We stayed here with our 1 year old son and our friends for 2 nights and did not really want to leave the cabin at the end of our stay! All the amenities are well thought of (like, crib, diapers, wipes, jam in the fridge, cheese. etc etc) and the cabin's proximity to rainier and crystal helped. The hiking books in the cabin were v.helpful and the best part for couples...romantic jetted tub in the main floor! You can enjoy this place with your family or just with your loved one if you are looking for a romantic retreat.
