Cozy, private cottage just a short walk from Surfer's Beach. 2 bedroom, 1 bath. The Mango Room has queen bed, A.C. unit and ceiling fan. Room no. 2 has two twin beds, A.C. unit, ample clothes bureau and ceiling fan.
Living area is functional, clean and comfortable with outside decks wrapping around the entire living area so you just step out onto your deck and the clean Eleuthera air.
Native coppice from mahogany to gum elemi and all in between give you a green view with the ocean just a 10 minute walk down the hill.

Located an 8-minute walk from world-class Surfer's Beach, Eleuthera the Recovery Room is also 2 miles south of Gregory Town, a half-hour drive from either North Eleuthera or Governor's Harbour airports. Direct flights from Fort Lauderdale take about one hour and connecting through Nassau via flight or ferry is also easy. Eleuthera is an unspoiled gem in the Bahamian chain of islands. One of the Caribbean's premier surfing destinations with small island charm and beauty. Harbour Island - famous for it's resorts and pink sand beach - is also a half hour drive and 5 minute boat ride away.

A cute little house, perfect for a couple needing a getaway. Only complaint would be the master bedroom mattress could be more comfie. Otherwise well situated for the beach and lots of quiet and privacy. A good deal price wise for your own piece of paradise.

We have travelled last years to different parts of the world and this island has conquered our heart, with his peoples,beaches,climate...The people are simple and polite. He does not ask for anything in exchange it is agreeable and elegant.
It is perfect for relax,for to be in pair or family or with friends for a calm stay.
Tom,the careteker is a guy very nice and liz too.We dont speak english very well and they have struggled to make deal and everything have been facilities for their part.
The cottage is one preciousness,nothing luxury,just that we need, comfortable.
The island is really safe.
We recommend to rent a jeep to reach the praise beaches in ocasionns a bit hidden.
And if you want to practise surf it is very easy take your board and walk not long for the surfers beach!

If you need to get mind and soul back together there is nothing better than this place..beautiful Island, people, beaches and cottage. Go there often to keep my sanity and appreciate the wonders of mother nature. All conveniences are there for your comfort and modern technology is just up the road if you have a panic attack to check e-mail. Tom and Liz do a super job of making you welcome and helping you find your way around.

It didn't get any better for surf! I was a short walk away from Surfers Beach, but I could have driven down too. The cottage is perfect to feel what the real island life is but lacked for nothing. Spent most of our time outside, surfing, grilling on the deck and star gazing like I've never seen. It's so private...people are around but sometimes you don't see anyone for hours. (This was real nice...) Tom is terrific and handled any and everything we needed and lives just down the road. He does kayak and surf trips and rents boards. We never wanted to go home! Snorkeling was outstanding! We didn't want massages and nails, just nature, peace and quiet and fun. We got it!
