Just Yards from Idyllic Sandy Beach
Two Bays Villa nestles amongst gentle tropical slopes facing the ocean with an oft- deserted safe sandy beach just yards away. Lucky guests can lie back and enjoy these views from their four poster beds .The two bays are populated by local wildlife such as Ospreys and Pelicans and occasional local fishermen but little else. Some locals come down to the beach at weekends.
The beach to the left is Cabier, over 1/4 mile long and protected by an off shore reef for safe swimming, and to the right Crochu Bay, both beautiful, natural and often... deserted.
Flexible, Comfortable Villa for up to 6 Guests
Two Bays is built along colonial lines with high ceilings and ceiling fans. It has folding doors opening 9 ft. wide onto shaded deep verandas to combine inside and outside living with the spacious open plan interior and to pick up the breeze. There is ample comfortable seating both inside and on the verandas with swing seats with stunning views in all directions.
With 3 bedrooms each with a private bathroom, Two Bays Villa offers comfortable, cool, relaxing accommodation for up to 6 guests. The 3 living spaces are separated by internal doors for additional privacy when required, and each bedroom has stunning views from their private verandas.
Sustainable Hardwood Interiors & Folding Doors
Tall folding louvered doors open to combine outside with inside and expand the generous living space to make the verandas part of your living area. All the woodwork of the furniture, doors, windows and the veranda is sustainable hardwood. It gives a warm, comforting, homely and glowing Caribbean feel.
The spacious 27ft living room has comfortable sofa and chairs, with the open plan kitchen and breakfast bar at the rear. Eating is normally enjoyed on the veranda looking at the stunning views; the hardwood dining table takes up to 6.Two Bays Villa is welcoming, simply and elegantly furnished with neutral colours offering the perfect environment for guests to kick back and relax immediately they have arrived.

Two Bays Villa has free Wi-Fi, so guests can keep in touch, check out the daily news online, but the villa does not have TV or an external telephone. There is an internal telephone to Cabier Ocean Lodge 100 yards away - who look after and provide maid service to Two Bays – and there is mobile phone reception.
The natural unspoilt beauty of Two Bays and Cabier is the main reason people return. There are games compendiums, multi-media speakers and books in each room as well as swinging hammock type chairs on each veranda; simple but relaxing pleasures.
Guests can cook for themselves in the fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, stove and microwave; having been tempted by the local produce, or wander over to the nearby Cabier Ocean Lodge and enjoy dining under the stars at the terrace restaurant and bar overlooking Crochu Bay and the ocean.
Relaxing, Stylish Verandah with Hammock
The private 19ft long shaded verandah
stretches along the front and sides of the studio facing the beautiful
bays beneath. Each studio has a private front door and the verandahs are
not overlooked. There are swinging hammocks/ chairs, comfortable
seating and provide the ideal spot to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Infinity Pool overlooking Bays
The infinity pool is
located at the rear of the villa, surrounded by a sun deck with loungers
overlooking Crochu Bay and the ocean. Catch the last rays of the sun in
the evening and enjoy the magical experience of sipping your drink in
the pool, watching the Pelicans finishing their day’s fishing.
As the sun sets watch the fireflies come up in the bushes by Crochu
Bay in front of you, hovering like animated Xmas lights, and when
Cabier’s thousands of stars are arching over you outnumbering the
fireflies – perhaps it is time for dinner!
Spacious Bedrooms & Bathrooms
The
bedrooms are spacious with private bathrooms, wardrobes, wall mounted
hairdryers. All have access to the living room. The main master bedroom
has 2 sets of folding doors opening onto the 100 ft. long veranda and
the other two bedrooms have 1 set of folding doors each opening onto
their private 19ft long verandas.
Two Bays Villa is flexible so
that it can be occupied as 3 separate units, with the additional degrees
of separation (including own front doors) - perfect for a group of 3
couples.

Each bedroom has a combination safe big enough for a normal laptop.
Two
Bays has been built to be cool using natural resources as much as
possible; Air conditioning is available, but often unnecessary due
to each bedroom having 2 ceiling fans, and the position of the villa,
60ft. above the water to catch the cooling breeze off the ocean.
All the wooden doors and windows have adjustable opening louvers and
all beds have generous mosquito nets although because of the breeze,
height and position mosquitoes are not usually a problem. The AC if used
is charged at 5USD per night. Each room is equipped with UK and USA
plug sockets.
Relaxing, Stylish Verandas with swing seats and chairs
The
main 100ft long shaded veranda stretches around the 3 sides of the
Villa over-looking the ocean and facing the beautiful bays. In addition
there are the two19 ft. bedroom verandas. All of them are 9ft. deep
giving plenty of shaded outside space.
There are swinging hammock type seats (including a double one),
chairs, and comfortable seating. They combine to provide the ideal spot
to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner – or just a snooze with a good book
and a view in your own private area.
There is direct access to the surrounding gardens of the villa with
plenty of quiet spots to sit. The sun terrace with its loungers next to
the pool provides another area to relax in.
Bar, Restaurant & Satellite TV at nearby Cabier Ocean Lodge
As a guest at Two Bays you are also a guest at Cabier Ocean Lodge just
100 yards away managed by Iris and Bruno, generous hosts – their names
are mentioned frequently in the very favourable reviews. Their staff,
Cindy & Florence, look after you at Two Bays.
You can visit the excellent bar and sample one of Iris’s rum punches
or other cocktails; eat at the restaurant when you feel like it for
breakfast and dinner (they do ask for 24 hours’ notice, as most
ingredients are bought fresh), lunches can be arranged.
There is also free Wi-Fi and a telephone that guests can use, including
satellite TV. Two Bays and Cabier is a peaceful, secluded location.
Guests can watch TV in the Lodge, but the emphasis is upon nature,
relaxation and comfort. Cabier also has a small rescue menagerie of
local wildlife.
Jeep Hire Available and visiting sites
4 x4 jeeps are
available for hire at very reasonable rates through Cabier for guests to
use to explore the rest of the island at their leisure. They can be
picked up and/or dropped off at Cabier or the airport. Minimum hire
period is 3 days. There is also a taxi service locally and public
transport along the main road about a mile away.
If you do not fancy driving far on the island Bruno runs individual
tours for guests, which includes visits to the chocolate estate, rum
factory and waterfall swimming. There are also local guides who can
offer specialist tours for bird watching, fauna and flora in the rain
forest up in the centre of the island.
Cabier is well placed to visit all sites of interest whether in St
George’s to the South or the other main attractions to the North and in
the centre of the island.
The locals are lovely and friendly – a lot of them seem to have
relatives in the UK, Canada and USA;Â are passionate about their
cricket, and still have that old world custom and courtesy of greeting
