When you take a vacation to a foreign country like Switzerland, you're going to be participating in the local culture. You'll be skiing Swiss slopes, visiting Swiss museums, and eating Swiss chocolate so why should your Swiss accommodation be any different? This authentic Switzerland chalet apartment is great for a family, has a private terrace, and is within walking distance of all the places you'd care to see in Grindelwald!

[80m2] The apartment, built in 1998, faces south and has views of the quiet town nearby and of the surrounding mountains. The private terrace furnished with a barbecue and a table with chairs. There is an elevator... in the building and covered parking is available.

[140m2] First floor [with elevator]: The combined living and dining room has couches, an armchair, cable TV, DVD player, a table with chairs, and access to the terrace. The kitchen is equipped with a cook-top, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. The first bedroom has two 90 cm single beds, the second bedroom has a 150 cm small queen-size bed [a little smaller than the U.S. standard queen-size bed of 160 cm], and the third bedroom has a 180 cm king-sized bed. The first bathroom has a sink, toilet, and tub with a handheld shower and the second bathroom has a sink, toilet, and shower. There is also a guest bathroom with a toilet.

Located in the ski resort town of Grindelwald, the apartment is just 10 meters from the nearest ski bus stop, 600 meters from food shops, and 800 meters from a restaurant. Known for its ski and snowboard trails catering to all levels of the sport [which means there are many cable cars], the town also has hiking trails throughout every season. The center has plenty of shops and an annual International snow festival is held each January with an ice skating rink in the heart of town. There are also museums, a cinema, and energetic nightlife venues. Although it's among the only resorts towns in Jungfrau that can be reached by car, Grindelwald has a railway station linking to the nearby towns [such as Interlaken] and it's frequently visited by those from the surrounding regions.
