Description from the owner
C'est la Vie stands amidst a lush tropical garden surrounded by flowering shrubs, fruit trees and a large free form swimming pool. It is only a stone's throw from a secluded cove which is home to many different species of fish, making it ideal for snorkeling. A quiet and beautiful golden sand beach is located about five minutes walk away on the other side of the peninsula.
The uniquely designed accommodation at C'est la Vie includes a spacious one bedroom Cottage on two floors, a three bedroom Villa with Reception, Gallery and Sunroom and a one bedroom Apartment. Each air-conditioned bedroom also has a ceiling fan, cable televisi...Read more

Additional Location Information
Ideally located with the sea on both sides of the peninsula, the secluded cove is only 100yds away and the sandy beach 5 minutes walk. Snorkelling is good but C'est la Vie's pool and gardens are very relaxing for all ages. Although we are only a few minutes walk from an Hotel with several restaurants, the peninsula is very quite and peaceful and most of our guests prefer to take their meals at C'est la Vie.
We are 10 minutes drive from Rodney Bay and about 20 minutes from Castries. However, since we are on the coast one mile away from the highway, their is usually little to disturb the tranquility apart from the sounds of the sea and the birds.

Minehead, EnglandRelaxed yet pampered elegance
Left on 01/17/2013 for a stay in December 2012
From the moment you walk through the substantial front door an atmosphere of calm elegance is all pervading. Service is immaculate yet unobtrusive and the attention to detail and one's needs is quite extraordinary.
C'est La Vie is beautifully secluded yet Rodney Bay's facilities are only minutes away.
If in the unlikely event that you tire of the pool, the warm Caribbean is a gentle stroll through the grounds.
My few days passed too quickly and I look forward to the time when I can revel in the pleasures of C'est La Vie -

It was a dream come true vacation, and we were so impressed with C'est La Vie. The staff was so wonderful and friendly, and especially O'Shea was so professional and anticipated our every need. The food was outstanding. It was a perfect place to spend our first week of marriage. The property was just so beautiful- filled with lush tropical gardens. We are so grateful to stay there!

Our stay at C'est la Vie was the best land vacation we have ever had. I am in the travel industry so my experience is vast. From the moment we set foot on the property we knew it was going to be a 6 star luxury experience and it was. The staff is professional, unasuming and friendly. I would be amiss not to mention Oshea who was the icing on the cake. Fabulous grounds, spotlessly clean just a joy all the way around. Next years trip is already planned!

Bath, UKA Little Piece Of Paradise
Left on 08/09/2012 for a stay in April 2012
It was a difficult choice, but there's no doubt we made the right one for us. C'est la Vie is small, secluded and very stylish. My husband says that in all his years of international travel, he's never found a better place in which to unwind. Set in a tropical garden C'est la Viet has only five bedrooms, but world-class facilities - ranging from a private beach to a free form swimming pool with a waterfall to a beaming on-call butler for whom nothing is too much trouble. The food too is remarkable, combining as it does international flare and fresh island flavours, presented to a standard that wouldn't be out of place at a five star European hotel. Except that here it's very personalised and you can choose to dine on the veranda, under the stars at the water's edge or in the garden, serenaded by the tinkling chorus of a myriad tiny tree frogs. Mind you, the quality of the food came as no surprise when we learned that the chef had been trained by Birmingham-born Orlando Satchell, who took the acclaimed Dasheene restaurant into the Caribbean top ten restaurants in a Conde Nast Traveller poll. Bliss.

If you are looking for a truly 5 star boutique experience in the north of St. Lucia, C'est la Vie is the place for you. The attention to details is un-matched; a sense of personal experience; butler service among beautiful gardens; private walkway to the beach; a customized culinary experience. The vacation the mind ad body really wants. As for their special local fruit cocktails!

Montgomery, AlabamaWhat a fantastic family experience!

We were pleasantly surprised from the start. From the beginning every individual involved in caring for us during our stay made us feel at home and cared for and about. When we arrived at the villa it was even better than expectations. We quickly grew into the space as if it was our home. C'est La Vie is beautifully laid out and comfortably furnished. The pool and grounds are magnificent. The suites are roomy and quite comfortable with completely modern amenities including wifi. All this in the middle of one big island paradise. The staff were exceptionally attentive and exuded warmth and friendliness. The chef created one wonderful meal after another and evryone went out of there way to make sure the needs of our party, which contained individuals whose ages ranged from 3 to 77, were met. The staff, led by Oshea, saw to it that every need and whim were fulfilled. The friendly people at Spice travel, led by Daniel, made sure our experience was as seamless as it was rich. There were so many special aspects of the trip that were exceptional. St Lucia is a paradise. C'est La Vie is a charming villa. Perhaps the very best part of the trip, though, was the warmth and care we experienced from the St Lucian people in general, and the staff at C'est La Vie villa and Spice travel in particular. I cannot recommend this place too highly.
Note: Those interested may look up the web site Smugmug and go to an individual named bluestar12. There they will find a gallery of photos that my father took of this beautiful villa. -

ScunthorpeSerene tranquility coupled with privacy and excellence.
Left on 01/03/2012 for a stay in July 2011
We have visited St Lucia 5 times and C'est la Vie was discovered by pure chance on a boating excursion to see the sunset on the fourth of these visits. "If only" springs to mind as this was our "ideal" get away from the hustle and bustle of hectic working lifestyle. It normally takes three days to calm down and enjoy the holiday, but from the moment "Oshea" (the personal butler) greeted us with the local cocktail you felt relaxed from minute one so you really got to fully appreciate the break. They even took the effort to bake a birthday cake for my wife and presented it to her with a bottle of bubbly. Very attentative to detail.

ElginC'est la Vie is a luxurious secluded hideaway...
Left on 03/08/2011 for a stay in March 2011
C'est La Vie is a luxurious hideaway - large cool beautifully appointed rooms with private balconies overlooking the verdant, rich tropical garden that falls away to the totally private cove. ( physically unaccessible to the general public ) Whether snorkeling amongst incredibly brightly coloured fish in the sea or swimming in the freeform pool under the waterfall, peace and calm is omnipresent. Desney our butler and the rest of the staff were very attentive yet always very discreet. Delicious meals were served either on the spacious verandah or under a huge shady tree in the garden. There is plenty of beach action, music and nightlife at the nearby Windjammer ( short easy 5minute walk) but we preferred our own piece of paradise. We did however make an effort to see the rest of the island. Spice Travel organised a comprehensive Land and Sea Tour for us with indefatiguable Mathias. He was a wealth of knowledge about the history of the island as he showed us around the Botanical Gardens and drove us into the volcano, explaining the workings of the sulphur springs. The afternoon trip back to Rodney Bay in the north aboard the catamaran Mango Tango was another highlight as it stopped for us to snorkel in an area rich in fish. Th folks running C'est La Vie and Spice Travel are special people who cater for your every need. We can't wait to return to this piece of heaven
