This property was exactly as described: very comfortable and clean and had plenty of space for us - two couples - to stay for a few days. We really enjoyed the bbq and deck space to enjoy the outdoors a bit, and also were thoroughly satisfied with the kitchen, which had everything we needed in terms of relatively sharp knives, all the utensils you need, even some spices and olive oil for cooking.

I found this house rental quite unintentionally while looking for a motel near Yosemite. Not only was the house much better than a motel room could ever be, but it was about $20 cheaper per night! The place was cleaner and much better equipped than we expected. The only negative was that there was no internet, although there was a router hooked up beside the TV. Since we also did not have cellular service due to the location, this was an inconvenience. Other than that the house was awesome. Yosemite Valley is an hour away, Glacier Point and Tuolumne Meadows are about 1:45 away, Hetch Hetchy is about 1:15 drive. The washer/dryer, BBQ, TV/DVD all worked great. Two thumbs up!

The only downside is that the unit is located in a large gated community and takes a substantial amount of time to drive to or from the unit.

I did not expect how cozy and comfortable before we stay in the house. This vacation home actually has more than we expected. It was just like our second home. The home basically has everything you would need for your stay. They have two TV in the living room and the master's bedroom with cable channels. They have some toy for kids and big balcony with BBQ grill. It will probably take a whole day to describe how nice and comfortable the home was. We will definitely stay again next vacation.

We enjoyed the lake community property. It was clean and well taken care of and the amenities were nice. It was an hour drive to Yosemite Valley each day and quite a drive into the subdivision, but it was really relaxing, clean and a fun place to stay with our kids for the week. I would go back and would recommend. They have done a nice job updating the home. We enjoyed quite a few meals out on the deck.

We had a very nice stay at this was a very convient and affordable way to see yosemite. One morning we drove to the valley in an hour and the next morning we did it in 45 mins.Leaving earlier during summer to miss traffic is essential!!
Beside yosemite the lake swimming was super fun for the kids. BBqing on the deck and meals out side was so relaxing. Driving there from the gate seemed far the first couple times but then driving around the complex we decided it was worth it for the wooded location and quiet spot.
One complaint/suggestion for the owner, one night we wanted to watch a dvd or tv.I'm sure someone with a similar set up could have figured it out but we couldn't. The only instruction were the appliance manuals.A simple step by step to get the dvd player to work would have been nice.
We did live without it though and had a great time here. Thanks! -

My husband, 20 yr old daughter, and myself recently stayed here while visiting Yosemite. We found it much more economical than staying in the park. The drive back and forth wasn't too bad-even one night when it got rainy and foggy. The house had everything we needed and was quite comfortable. Overall, it was clean but the bedding and kitchen could have used a deep cleaning. Thanks for a nice stay. We would stay here again.

We rented this cabin as a jump off point to exploring Yosemite. It was located in a gated resort which had lots of amenities. The cabin was spacious and had a lovely long deck. One night we grilled a delicious meal. We were glad to have a washer/dryer. The kitchen had everything we needed. Our only regret is that we did not have much time to relax in the cabin because we were out hiking and exploring the beauty of the national park nearby.

The house is nice, has a good kitchen 2 queen beds and downstairs a king sized bed. You can eat outside and have a nice view.
You have to drive a bit through the gated communicty to get to the house, but there is an exit close to the house to leave.
Would go there again! -

My family and I stayed at this vacation rental for 3 days in September, 2010. It was super clean, quiet, and the scenery outside was beautiful. The Pine Mountain Lake region in Groveland is absolutely beautiful. The town of Groveland is small and quaint, and we really got the feeling that it is one of those towns where everyone knows everyone else. The property was readily equipped with everything we needed. We didn't use any of the amenities of the Lake, as we were mainly there to see Yosemite. The staff really went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed, and I appreciate that! The price was fantastic. My husband and brother-in-law did golf on the Pine Mountain Lake golf course and they really liked it. The trip to Yosemite each day was about 45 minutes, but scenery on the way is nice. After Groveland, there aren't many places to stay close to Yosemite, and the prices are usually outrageous. If I were to return to Yosemite, I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

We reserved this home as a take-off point to visit nearby Yosemite NP. The home was well decorated and equipped with most everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The washer/dryer was a real help. More instructions on the TV/DVD/Wireless internet would have been helpful. Thanks for a wonderful place!

This property was very cute nice lay out and quite comfortable. It was just too far from the lake even the closest beach as well as the entrance to PML. It takes 15 minutes (if you drive the speed limit) I think the price is reasonable given the location. I would try to select a home closer to the main lake in the future. You can go to Dunn beach very nice (10minutes) but if you use the water taxi it costs each day. All in all we loved the lake and the amenities but wished we were in walking distance rather than driving.

Very comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and furniture. There was even a large selection of games and books. The only improvements would be a cleaner looking mattress pad and fewer spider webs in the corners (some with spiders still in residence). We were there in late May and we were told that the house had been closed up for awhile. These small issues certainly did not detract from it being a great place to stay. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed all the kids books and board games. Our only complaint was there was no electricity to the whole downstairs which made it difficult to see at night. Other than that we would definitely stay here again!
