We will most certainly be back for more lake vacations. The house was was wonderful and offered all of us the space and necessities we needed to have a fun filled weekend. It made things so easy to go to a house that was stocked with all kitchen supplies. The game room was a hit for everyone! And the dock and canoe made our vacation so convenient and fun. We didn't even go to the beach some days because we liked to lounge right there off the dock. It's a great location for good old fashion, simple fun.

While this is a wonderful place, there is a bit of "police state" feeling. We were not personally subjected to it, but witnessed patrol boat harassing people for swimming off their boat in one case, interrogating people on a small boat about registration and one owner yelling at someone who swam past his dock.
The association should seriously consider reviewing their rules along with enforcement tactics. Swimming within 25' off one's dock is an unnecessary and excessive limitation that takes away from the attractiveness of the place.
Focus on safety and peaceful recreation, not on trying to hit guests for $25 boat stickers or harassing them. -

This is our favorite place to stay at Pine Mountain Lake. We love the location on the lake with the canoe and beautiful dock. Sunset canoe rides and stargazing from the dock are two of our favorite activities when we stay here. It's a spacious home, perfect for two families. We wish some things in the home were more modern, but overall it is a fantastic place.

+++: Central air is fantastic, very quiet. Very nice dock. we loved the canoe. Beautiful view on the lake. - - - Kitchen floor was not well washed. Pans are in very poor condition - scratched and deformed. Twin mattresses are worn out.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was in a fantastic position and we really appreciated the use of the canoe that was left for us. The house was very comfortable and well furnished with all amenities, if a little old fashioned in decor. The only thing I would say to improve re the house would be the outside lighting which isn't placed so that you can eat outside in the dark - may be an extra lantern is needed.

We had simply the best weekend ever! The property was perfect, little deer running around, the lake was awesome. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for quiet. **Plus Groveland is only 24 miles to Yosemite!

I enjoyed staying at this property. Thank you. Great view, good interior design. But there are some little things to change:the sleeping sofa has some loosen springs, not enough toilet paper in bathrooms, good to have one more medium size saucepan.

house is generally in good shape. Would have been nice to have the refrigeration not leaking while we were there. The house needs additional blankets, and in this day and age, wifi should be installed.

This is a very nice house; however, the deck was not clean and the house was dusty upon arrival. I had a severe allergic reaction to the dust. I spent 20 minutes hosing off the deck. I had been in this house before and the condition was better back then.

We LOVED this vacation home and the people at Custom Rentals are SO nice. The only thing keeping the cleanliness rating from a 5-star was excessive spider webs...not sure that's even possible to eliminate. And the only thing keeping the property mngr helpfullness from 5 stars was a mix-up on the duration of our stay which cut our vacation a little short. Just review the paperwork carefully and you should have no problems, they really are helpful, gracious people! Enjoy!

Overall, the house is very nice and in a good location. However, it suffers from the lack of TVs ( there is only one small 15" one in the living room) and atrocious plumbing problems in the kitchen. The sink drain got backed up and although the management was very responsive and sent someone out immediately, the problem could not be fixed and the kitchen was unusable. It is apparently a serious blockage in the drainage pipe far from the house. Until this is dealt with and 2 or 3 decent TV sets are provided I would not recommend the property. Once these problems are addressed it would be highly recommended.

Thank you for your comments. There was a problem with the sink draining properly, which was correted. There are a lot of surrounding tree and roots can become a problem. Problem is solved. TV sets are being considered.

This is the best family house for a vacation--right on the lake, private deck and dock, fun canoe, fun, spacious house. Our third visit and we can't wait to go back. Good all year round.

This is a very good property, and we've stayed here bofore. couple of comments: upper deck needs to be strengthened, especially, the rails, that are becoming loose. Although comfortable, this house could stand upgrading in the next few years, as it starts looking and feeling dated. Otherwise, it's wonderful: plenty of space, game room is a huge bonus, as well as an extra table and umbrella on the upper deck. Thank you to the owners for making this house available for rental.

Had major problem with plumbing/sink/dishwasher- for about 24 hours. Rental company was quite responsive and plumber was also- but didn't have the right tools. In the meantime, pretty disgusting!
