I think this was our fourth time staying at Tidewood aad we've loved it each time. It's a warm, inviting place that feels like a home away from home.

Great location, extraordinary views, a very cozy and comfortable home with wonderful owners and terrific management providing all you need. We feel lucky to have discovered this oasis of relaxation and enjoyment. See whales and otters from the house and hot tub, along with magical sunsets and sparkling night skies. The town of Gualala is easy walking distance and we even got a local masseuse to come to the house to pamper us. You won't find better on the Northern California Coast!

The location was excellent. Nice view of the ocean. The walk into town was easy. The hot tub was excellent. The house was clean and comfortable. All good!

The house has a great view and lots of room. Great fishing for the fishermen in our group who just walked down to a cliff below the house and had much success. We all enjoyed the hot tub at various times.
There is lots of room in the house and we're glad we could have our pets with us.
Great sleeping spaces and great laundry room.
Over all we really enjoyed ourselves. -

Tidewood was a fantastic family home to get away to and great for our dog. There is a very large side yard right off the driveway where pets are safe from traffic and able to explore without disturbing other neighbors. We love to BBQ and sitting off the front porch on the forest side of the house is a great spot for the family to gather.
If you are up early, enjoy sitting on the deck and watching the family of dear wander out of the redwoods onto the bluff.
Tidewood is nicely appointed and has a great view of the ocean from the dining table, living room and the master bedroom; open the window and let the ocean lull you to sleep. The 2 other bedrooms have a cozy view of the redwoods.
We will definitely be back to this one. -

Fantastic location, comfort and amenities. A bit overpriced. Unfortunately, a series of problems (backed up toilet, non-working microwave(s), smoking stove flue that set off smoke alarm, complete power outage) were swiftly and cheerfully addressed by management. Already booked the same place for next year, certain that the remaining problems will be fully addressed by excellent Coasting Home staff.

We rented this home for a birthday celebration and was pleasantly surprised by this fantastic location! The home is a little older, but that also brought an extra charm. Hot tub was perfect, couldn't ask for more!
I'd suggest bringing your favorite comfy lounging chair for the deck, we spent an entire evening just soaking in the view. I'd also suggest binoculars, we were able to watch the whales swimming north! -

We really had a great time with our land locked frineds from St. Louis The view of the ocean and the sound of pounding waves was fabulous. The house was clean well equipped and very comfortable!! Will definitely return!

We were here during the record cold summer of 2010, which means a lot of fog. We could not have asked for a better view to watch the fog roll in and out from the horizon. Wonderfully quiet, comfortable, and- did I mention the view?! Beautiful!
I give the location four stars because Gualala wasn't our favorite destination, but the location of Tidewood was wonderfully convenient- an easy walk to shops and restaurants. -

Too many rules re: garbage.
Was fearful about moving any furniture.
