The archetecture of the home and the setting are wonderful, privacy and light abound . The decor is dated and tired. The home was well equipped but could use some comfortable seating. The Hot Tub took a day to heat up and the views from both tub and the grand room were obstructed by 2 very large plants that need to be removed.

We enjoyed the open floor plan of the Kiva house. The views of the ocean are a plus! Our only draw back is the fact that the rental company promotes the Kiva house as having internet which is inaccurate. The town of Sea Ranch has a Verizon tower, and unless you have a smart phone/iphone that has "hot-spot" capacity, you are unable to connect to the internet. In that case, you will have to drive into Gualala which is a 10 minute drive. Overall, our experience was positive.

Although the capability exists to jump online via Verizon's cell service (this same service is available through most of The Sea Ranch), it is true and you are absolutely right that Kiva does NOT provide it's own internet service for guests. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

The Kiva was a great get away! The house is clean, lots of open space and natural light, which was wonderful. The location and check-in was very easy. Great neighborhood and lots of privacy. Nice walking trails and the area is beautiful.

The place was great. The views of the ocean were incredible. You could see the ocean while in bed in the master bedroom. Hot tub and the view of the stars was awesome.

This house is in a beautiful, serene location on the Sonoma Coast. This house is situated in a very private location with incredible ocean views. My husband and I got some much needed time alone and enjoyed every aspect of this very comfortable home. While we did spend time exploring the area, we easily could have spent the entire weekend enjoying this home!

This is the third time that we have stayed at Kiva. It costs a bit more, but it is worth it because everything is first class. It is well-maintained and beautifully decorated and furnished. Everything is well-thought out and done in good taste. It has a well-functioning kitchen with good appliances. The beds are comfortable. The outside area is lovely. It is our new favorite home to rent in Sea Ranch.

Kiva was all it was billed as: a beautifully appointed, comfortable, well-equipped house. It's located in a particularly attractive part of the Sea Ranch in a lovely setting with great views. Lots of animals around, including deer and grey fox. We would be happy to rent this property again.

We'd not stayed at Sea Ranch before, mostly because I thought all the houses were too much alike. But this one is a bit different with it's Southwestern feel. It was quiet and spacious and has a wonderful window seat. Great place! Could use some instructions for the complicated cable tv set up for non-dweebs who could not figure it out, and we had to plead for more toilet paper from Coasting Home! (they did deliver it) but these are really small quibbles, it was delightfully equipped.

My husband and I rented Kiva to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary. The home is gorgeous, with incredible views. It is clean, beautifully furnished with a well appointed kitchen. Even the pictures do not capture the beauty.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at Kiva. The first time was jut the two of us and this last time was with his parent who were visiting from the UK. Their reaction to Kiva and Gualala was the same as ours...Heaven on earth. Our only complaint was we couldn't stay longer. This is the only place I have seen my husband relax in over five years - we will definitely be back!

We had a very romantic weekend / birthday celabration. It snowed at 8 pm on sat eve for about five minutes and was a blast. Very unlikely that the snow will happen again in my life time. We will want to stay here again. Thanks so much for sharing your home.
