My husband and a friend of our spent the "winter" here and it was wonderful! It was a great home-base to go exploring other areas of the city and the region. The apartment is open, comfortable, safe, quiet and equipped with everything we needed. It is also within a 20-minute walk to most places we wanted to be in the city. The neighborhood feels much more authentic that other areas of town- which we really enjoyed. The owner was also very friendly and responsive to any concerns we had. I would certainly stay here again!

We truly enjoyed our apartment! The beds were comfortable, storage was ample and the house is sunny, open and we came to find out, much more spacious than the normal apartment we encountered. There is a great rooftop patio for use that has a wonderful view and internet, gas and bottled water service are included. The only drawback was the 15 minute walk into the central part of town. This is no problem when the town is full during Cervantino and people are staying in hotels an hour away. It was kind of rough as we had school early every morning. It is close to the Mercado and many other stores as well as the mummy museum. Steve and his rental manager are kind and responsive, very trustworthy!!

WisconsinNice place, poor location.

The casita was very nice and cute and very good value. It had internet, automatically heated water and in general modern amenities. The only bad part was its about 150 steps up a callejon, which isn't too terrible, but as a single young lady, a bit scary at night. I feel that the steps weren't really advertised. Also, neighbors to the right, super nice family! Neighbors to left...noisy with lots of pets and cats that like to roam into the terrace.

I am glad that you enjoyed your stay at the
Casita. We do mention that it is 150 steps up a callejon in the description of the property. Thank you for the heads up on the neighbors cat. We will be talking to thm about that. We have also added new kitchen amenities and made it even nicer and cuter. I hope that you stay with us next time you are in GTO! -

My husband and I loved staying at Casita Pajarito. Guanajuato is a wonderful city full of surprises. The casita was extremely comfortable and private. It was walking distance to the centro and in a authentic historic neighborhood in Guanajuato. Beautiful new furnishings and artwork made this a perfect get away.
