“A home away from home” We were well received, our trip was planned for optimum utilization, tickets and travel arranged well in advamce, so no wastage of time in Q or waiting. So flexible to accomodate late night shows and 3 sessions in a day. Penthouse stunning Mt. view great location 4br
True Immersion -- Lifetime Experience

There are not enough words to convey how wonderful of a time I had, the week I stayed at Daisy's home. If you are looking for true immersions; living among the locals... this is the place. Her penthouse is spacious and clean. It's located in a condo/apartment complex with a guard house. In addition, for incidentals there is a little convenience store on the premises. If you'd like you can ask Daisy to organize local trips around Guilin as well as restaurants. Pretty much if need something done she and her husband, a doctor of massage therapy, can make it happen. If you ask her husband he will give you a massage at the penthouse; for a fee. Her home is quite comfortable and all the rooms have aC. The location is not in downtown Guilin and that was ok for us. But a 5 min bus from in front of the complex will get you to supermarkets, a small mall, restaurants, and banks. If you are willing to learn Chinese and willing to speak English to children, Daisy has a school that teaches English to elementary school kids. We took advantage of that and did a lot of local activities with the children and their families. I felt very welcome in Daisy's home and in Guilin. So happy I lived among the locals. … see more
