We had an amazing stay at Villa Eileen. The river bank is perfect for lounging and swimming. We swam, relaxed all day. We will definitely be back.

A very pleasant stay for two couples sharing this rental. Family room and deck were just right. Well-stocked kitchen.

It rained a little bit, the dish washer wasn't working properly and the canoes were stored away. Outside of that we had a wonderful time. Look forward to either renting Villa Eileen (4th time), or another home (sleeps 8; 2 bathrooms; next to river with beach, not dock).

Hello!
The dishwasher has been repaired - and it was brand new too! Thank goodness for warranties!
There's a great beach at Villa Eileen and we love putting our toes in the sand! Unfortunately, when the summer-only recreational dams are taken out in September, boats are locked up... For guest safety and to reduce damages to boats.
I hope we'll see you again next summer!

These are the types of places that build kids memories. We had lots of fun both on the property and in the river.

The house and yards where really nice. The yards where fenced and gated so we didn't have to worry about our dogs getting out, Large or Small dogs. This factor alone made our week long stay much more relaxing. All the amenities, Bbqs, canoes, fireplace, etc where in working order. A hot tub would have been nice.

This house was well appointed in terms of dishes, cooking supplies, etc. We went with another family and there was a room for the kids and then two other rooms for each set of parents. There were even two almost identical bathrooms. The location is on a really nice clear and shallow part of the river with a beach that doesn't get too crowded. Guerneville is 1 mile down the river; a perfect distance for a canoe ride to get provisions.

This house has everything you need. Lots of kitchen supplies, great bbq's, double lot on river, nice canoes, wonderful beach, nice large deck.
A great place for families.
I did feel that some of the bedding could have been cleaner, and the house shows some aging signs and maintenance needs. We also came home with fleas, but that could have come from the beach. Overall, the property management people were great, and I gave the rental a four because of the property and the location on the river and is in a neighborhood. Great river access.

Villa Eileen is a fantastic home for family gatherings! It has great access to the beach and multiple BBQ's - one brand new.
Like so many River houses, Villa Eileen has been around for a long time... New wiring and exterior lights were done this spring and the owners tackle issues as they come up and also do significant improvements when they have the chance. Please give us a call if you noted any specific maintenance issues and we can address them before the next guest or during your stay, when you are in our homes.
And we'll look into the linens - it may be time to bring in a new set! Thank you for the feedback so we can continue to make our homes great for our guests!

We had two families stay in this home, both of us with children. This house was perfect for us...pleny of spaces to sleep. The location was perfect...a great beach in the back and canoes. Plenty of seating on the patios and kitchen. The house was comfortable, provided games and other outdoor activities for the kids to do. The only complaint I have was the showers. They have the water saver shower head and were actually painful...espcially after being in the sun all day. One of the showers leaked all over the bathroom floor and was a pain to keep dry. Over all we were very satisfied.
