Left IL to get away from the cold. We had a nice time in Gulf Shores. Our place felt like home when we left. Loved waking up and seeing the ocean. The condo was laid out nicely. The rental company was the best. Any little problem we had was taken care of. They were always friendly. We liked it so much we are planning to return next winter.

Really enjoyed our condo. It had almost everything we needed...We were told that we would have WiFi in the unit but the only place we could get it was on the balcony. That worked for us, but was a little disappointing when we arrived. Benders was a wonderful company to work with. We got immediate response to any problem we had. The residents of the condo were very friendly and we got together once a week in the community room. We really enjoyed our visit here.

My only complaint was when we first walked into the condo, there were stains on the carpet. I had read that there was new carpeting installed last year and had hoped for better. However, the view was to die for. The last morning there, my wife and I woke up early and could see dolphins swimming and jumping. Also the condo is just down the road from Bender Realty and close to good eating places and shops.

This is a great condo. The view is splendid. The location is wonderful. The mattresses on both beds offered great sleeping. We felt very safe - security guard stays on property most of the night. However - we left early because this place needs an exterminator. Also -the owner was not able to supply access codes to use internet. So, if you are planning to work and play forget it. Carpet needed cleaning. And when they say you can park only one vehicle they mean only ONE vehicle. Parking lot is not designed for large vehicles, spaces are tight. Overflow parking is not on site, it is down the street.

We were pleased with the condo unit.Looks like the furniture is fairly new and had two really nice tv's to watch.Kitchen had just about anything you would need to cook and eat with.Pool area is nice and had a large sitting area and the water in the pool was actually warm.The only things we did not like was the parking area which seemed a little cramped especially if you had a full size truck/suv and we did not care for the "inside balcony" as you never got the feeling of sitting on your balcony at night listening to the ocean.We would rent this unit again.

No roon in parking Lot. Front Door was hard to Lock. We got wake up at 2:00 in morning by the
property management so they could see if we had

The unit was in good shape. It loked like the carpet had just been replaced and it had new paint through out. The other people staying there were very friendly. There are a lot of good places to eat in Gulf Shores and a lot of things to see and do. we would rent from Bender Realty again.

Our overall stay was great. Very clean and quiet. Bender realty is always wonderful to work with and always pleasant and helpful as well. Location of The Gulf Tower is really good, there are several restaurants that's close and also good. Thanks, we'll be back!!

The carpet was very dirty and needs to be cleaned. The screen was torn on the window. The elevator did not work on Sat. Overall it was very nice.

I really liked 8C however, the AC was a little underpowered. We had to buy a fan to keep the bedroom cool enough. The AC was probably designed for the square footage excluding the newly renovated ocean viewing porch. Most of these units allow you to close
the door to the porch. This keeps the unit much cooler. We usually stay at 5c and that unit is definately cooler. If nothing else ceiling fans in the bedrooms would help. Either way we enjoyed our stay. -

Pros: good location, good TVs, good beds and baths, well equipped kitchen, good air conditioner
Cons: decor is VERY dated, carpet and furniture is stained, sliding doors didn't work well, sheets were like sand paper, towels and bedspreads were thin and worn, wireless internet too weak & never worked. -

We had a little incident in the pool with one of the owners of another property. Same building, but different floor. Something that could have been handled by talking to us, but instead security was involved, etc..
As far as the property/condo, it was beautiful! -

FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS WE HAVE BEEN RENTING CONDOS IN THIS BLDG BUT NEVER HAS IT BEEN LIKE THIS TIME. WE COULD NOT ENJOY THE BEACH OR BEING IN OUR CONDO FOR THE DRUNKS. I DID NOT REALIZE THERE WAS A MUSIC FEST. PEOPLE WERE HANGING OFF THE BALCONY ETC YELLING AND IN THE STAIR WELL.

We had a wonderful time in Gulf Shore. During our stay, we were blessed with perfect weather!
The Good: Gulf Towers is a great place to stay! Very homey! Plenty of room. Great view of the Gulf and beaches from the balconey. Very close to restaaurants and shops and public parks and beaches. Great bech at Gulf Towers. Clean Pool!Well furnished. Kitchen with all amenities. Property very clean!
The Bad: Beds are very uncomfortable. We tried sleeping on both bed and found them substandard for us. Ended up sleeping on hide-a-bed couch! Much more comfortable but still a hide-a-bed!
We would come and stay again in a heart beat but would bring with us a sheet of plywood to place between mattress and springs.Response from Bender Realty - 04/28/2011

we have stayed at gulf tower for many years. we prefer it because it is a small building with pool and access to the beach right outside the pool area. we have stayed in several of the units including the top floor (penthouse). we stayed in a larger building on one occasion (islands east) but we prefer gulf tower because of it's size and homey feel. it is always clean and well kept. we always enjoy our stay at gulf tower!

For the location to hear the gulf and see it, it certainly achieves the purpose.
