I was extremely pleased with Lighthouse 710. The condo had more space than I was expecting, and was very clean. I would highly reccommend this condo and plan to stay there again next year!

We loved the location of being right on the ocean. The beach was very nice. The local restaurants and other fun activities in the area were great. The condo we stayed in was picked up and tidy but not clean. It also needed to be painted. We've never stayed in Gulf Shores so we were not aware we had to supply salt and pepper, toilet paper and trash bags. We rent a condo every summer in Charlevoix and they have a 24 hour front desk at the condo building. They also have daily maid service which we like better.

We had fun and are probably going to return this year. The pools were crowded but that is to be expected in a large condo complex. the beach was nice but one day there were tons of fish floating up on shore. That is not a fault of the property though and I understand that was out of any type of control.

First time to stay at the Lighthouse and the kids loved the indoor pool. The condo could use some updating...you sink to the middle of the mattress in the master bedroom, the dishwasher ran a full cycle without ever putting a drop of water in it, the toilet in the master bedroom was running when we walked into the condo (no telling how many days it had been doing that), the other toilet would hang as well, the microwave would start running if you closed the door (breaker had to be tripped to get it to reset), and it could use some additional cooking utensils. I understand you're renting the condo so you want to purchase the cheapest items possible however, a few upgrades would be nice. In the end, spent time with family and the kids had fun...all that matters.

We loved the unit, the location and the October beach experience. It was perfect for us. We will look forward to doing this again and again. The gym was updated from last year and was much improved.

My daughter and I loved our stay at Lighthouse 710--extremely clean and comfortable. The pools were great as well as the proximity to the beach. The October weather was the best yet (God had that under control) but we certainly enjoyed our time in Gulf Shores probably more than at any other time we have spent there. Can't wait until we can plan another getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The condo was very clean; was in an excellent location. I loved that the balcony was off the bedroom also. The jacuzzi was nice. The only complaint I had, was that you couldn't use a canopy out on the beach. The other condos nearby had them up, so I don't know why you couldn't use them here. The beach patrol made one family take theirs down. This is the only reason that I wouldn't stay at the Lighthouse again. It gets to expensive to rent chairs and umbrellas everyday.

There was little hot water for all 3 people to take a shower...it was cold by the 4th person. The pull out couch bed would not go back into the couch after it was pulled out. We had to leave it out the entire time. Overall, I would rate this place as fair.

My family and I had a most unpleasant experience with Young's Suncoast Vacation Rentals. Our vacation was ended prior to the date we had planned, because they got the dates mixed up. The condo itself had an unpleasant odor as it the entire complex for it to be new. I will not stay with Suncoast ever again.

Booking was a last minute booking and booked for the dates requested. A longer stay was not available for the time period requested therefore, we would not have been able to offer any other dates. Dates booked were listed on the confirmation, which the guest signed. The parking passes we gave them upon check in, and the rental manager in the main office even spoke to the guest about this and she did not disagree that the dates reserved were the dates requested. As far as an odor, we apologize and had it been brought to our attention during the stay we most certainly would have taken care of it. Usually a bad smell means some sort of sea food has been put in the disposal and left. Maintenance is able to take care of this right away. It's a common occurance.

Great family enviroment. Security at the condo was very aware of surroundings and activities. Right on the beach and close to many great restaurants. A couple of things I wasn't too impressed with about the unit was the shower was extremely small and there was not alot of space (drawers, closets) for clothes. It was a little crowded for 6 unless a couple of them are small children. Other than that, we had a great experience and are even thinking to sell our condo in Florida and buy one at Gulf Shores.

Traveling with my elderly mother was such a joy on our September '08 vaction.
My mother has mobility issues, and we found that not to be a problem navagating the condo or when using the pool. The condo was great being right outside the elevater!
The calming interior of the condo was very peaceful. Loved the decor. The kitchen is well stocked and you can make anything from eggs to steamed crabs. The pool has great access for the young and the elderly with thier no entry feature. This allowed my mother to use her walker as she enter the pool and seats along the ledge allowed her to emserse her self in the water and just relax and cool off.
It being September the town was very quite and we enjoy no waiting at the area's restraunts. We went to the zoo and played with the baby tigers, I enjoyed the beach and the pool and read a few books.
I would greatly recommend both SunCountry and the Lighthouse to anyone who worries about renting a vaction rental over the intrenet. My mother and I were not disappointed and will certainly return.
