The title says it all - located on the beach with a great view. Condo was clean and well kept. The inly problem was bad mattresses. We all loved it and hope to be back.

We enjoyed the gulf view. We liked the location, close to restaurents and shopping. The condo was nice, except the location of the tv in the bedroom was to small and to high. The carpeting had numerous stains in the dining room.The balcony door in the living room was hard to open and close. The stools at the kitchen counter were to low.
The service we recieved was excellent. We are thinking of renting again at the boardwalk, but not unit 986. -

The place was nice. One concern was the vinyl blind on the door leading to the balcony. The blind was either dry rotted or really dried out from the sun. Once we arrived, I tried to adjust the blind and one of the blind pieces broke off in my hand. Our children would brush up against the blind and several other ones broke off. I stressed the entire trip thinking we would be charge some major charge for damaging the blind. We went to Walmart and purchased a new blind and left if in the condo. But overall, we loved the condo.

I have stayed in 986 twice I think. The owners really need to update their condo. The master bedroom did not get cool at night. They had a fan there, but I can't sleep with a fan on. I feel like if someone pays that kind of money to stay, then the owners should at least keep their condo up to par. I love Boardwalk and will always choose boardwalk to stay, but romm 986 will not be my choice again unless some changes are made.

The location is great. I love being close to Sea and Suds as well as the Surf Style. The Sea and Suds gift shop is also very nice. My only complaint is the parking. There is simply not enough. Noone wants to cross that busy highway with their family during the fourth of July weekend. We had two condos and one of them wasn't really very clean when we arrived. The elevators also need to have fans put in them. They were like being in a sauna.

This was our second visit to Gulf Shores & the Boardwalk, in 2008 we fell in love with the place. We enjoyed unit 982 during our previous stay and found it to be in wonderful condition and appointed with many thoughtful amenities. Unfortunately, unit 986 wasn't the same. The carpeting was stained and the fans needed a good cleaning, the walls were beat up with scuffs & there were holes in the closet doors in the master bedroom from the door knobs. There was baseboard missing in the guest bathroom & kitchen, the ceiling near the shower in the master bathroom was peeling off. The shower head in the master b/r was loosened the wall. The window frame in the master bedroom was broken & the window could not be opened by one person. The drapery in the master bedroom was missing "hooks" and so the drape just hung. The light in the guest bedroom didn't work & the outlet was missing its cover. The guides for the drawers in the chest of drawers in the guest bedroom were missing so the drawers would "fall out" when I tried to use them. The kitchen utensils needed to be replenished. Unit 986 would benefit from some much needed updates. To continue to rent out this unit in it's present condition is doing a disservice to your customers, the unit owners & Suncoast Rentals. When we left GS last year, we knew we would rent again from Young's, now we're not so sure. One positive however, the location is wonderful...we love that area on the beach!

The condo was very nice and clean. The view was wonderful and the beach access and pool were great. The major problem were the lack of some basic amenities such as Tea pitchers dish detergent and other basic items. The parking was horrible due to the sea & suds restarautn being downstairs. The vallets were very nice and helpfull but still did not eliminate the parking issue.

We always used our time-share until we found Youngs Sun Coast Vacation Rentals.
We tell everyone we know that this is the only way to go. our kids can't to go back and neither can we. It's the best value by far. Sitting on our private balcony and overlooking the beach before and after each fun-packed or relaxing day is just the best.

The location of the condo was fabulous! Georgous view!
When we arrived it was not clean and even the bedding had to be washed. The second bedroom had open electrical outlets there wasn't even a blanket for the bed. Pictures were on the floor rather than hung. The pantry had a coating of some type of oily, dirty substance on all of the shelves. Most of the lights in the condo did not work. That was very weird.
It seemed like it had begun to be rehabbed after the last hurricane, but was never finished or cleaned properly.
We cleaned the first night we were there and got the condo as close as we could to our normal standard of living. After that, we really had a nice time.
We will definitely go back to Gulf Shores, but we will probably try a different rental facility next time. Just to check it out.
The price for the condo was perfect though. No complaints there!!
